Yes. Just be aware the stats they accumulate stick as well. A work around I've found is to create the player with every attribute set to zero. That way CPU will generally not use him at all over the course of the season. Then export and re-enter the stats. I personally don't like BS stats with "real" players.

When I did it, I turned on manual injuries and injured the player getting the service time so he wouldn't get any stats...so that gave me real service time and no totals for hits or home runs.
BFR's future is still TBD, stay tuned for updates

Easier work around if you want service time with no stats would be to place him on the DL. Still acquires service time while on the DL.

I thought you can only export though with CPU roster control on? Which would mean no D.L.

It'd be awesome to have Todd Cunningham who had 8 MLB at-bats in 2013 but wasn't included in the game.

Might seem like a silly question, but how do you export a player (period) from franchise?! Is that even possible?!

If you start a franchise with CPU ROSTER CONTROL ON.......and go into that CPU ROSTER CONTROL screen(not the manage roster screen)....you have the option to export a player.

                    That's a good point, you're right.

Re: Found a way to create players with service time

This is why I've never been able to play with cpu roster control on. I want to make sure the cpu lineups don't get too crazy for all the simulated games, but not having guys get injured sort of cancels out the gain.

Seems like you could have the cpu take over if and only if there was an injury, make the necessary adjustments, and afterwards relinquish control again. Then you could go in and doublecheck what it did, overriding if necessary.

Or just be able to turn it on and off from within franchise or season mode? I don't know...
