I didnt either. I knew we had a handful of guys from the UK in this forum(and more playing that dont come here Im sure)

But didnt realize it was that far reaching

in fact it is. There's baseball leagues in europe. In netherlands, italy, spain, germany (they called bundesliga too), belgium, czech republic... and their leagues champions plays the european champions cup (it's like a Champions League of baseball)

My dad played in the Netherlands league in the late 70's early 80's before getting his shot with the Pirates... I missed out on being born there by a couple of months

My dad has Canadian and British Citizenship and he tried out for the Padres in the 80's as well. It doesn't mean much considering all these people saying they're coming from Europe, but it's something and it's pretty cool. I never thought baseball was this popular in Europe. The only baseball leagues I knew of were in Asia, Australia, and of all places Israel. It makes you think about baseball being "America's pastime".

First game with rules was June 4, 1838, Beachville, Ontario but it really is America's pastime

I can't thank all who work on these rosters enough. They've been amazing in the past and always a highly anticipated release. Been using them for quite some time and can't wait to tack on another year of using OSFM Rosters. Thank you all again for your hard work.
