Someone uploaded a roster called "Osfm full roster" today. The PSN user is "White_Mamba2".

Just making sure, this isn't the real OSFM right? I know people were talking about them coming out later today/tonight so just was making sure.

2 profiles
1 for you (your personal settings)
1 with everything AUTO other than what you want to control, IE lineups/rotations

Is this the best option for these rosters? I usually just take Cleveland and get my franchise started.

Is this the best option for these rosters? I usually just take Cleveland and get my franchise started.

I usually just load them up and go with them due to aforementioned errors on my part with 30 team control. There are some serious benefits such as getting to correct lineups as well as "veto" wonky trades. I've read about these benefits but I've yet to experience them myself to say whether it truly makes the experience better or not. People who use 30 team seem to swear by it though.

Really it just depends on how much better the trade logic is this year. If it's improved enough to not make some bizarre moves then you would probably be fine without it. I know in the past I have been very frustrated with odd trades though that I'm hoping to be able to avoid this year.

last year you was in Roma, but baseball is playing in other part of the region Lazio. The city of Baseball is Nettuno, in province of Rome, around 70 km from the capital.

"Il calcio" or *Soccer* (as you say in US) in Italy nowadays is very very close to implode on itself. Too many debts by the big team (Juve, Milan, Inter, Roma, around 1 billion of euro in total between these clubs and the banks), the medium teams falter to survive and now we are living the failure of Parma, a team that in the '90 won thanks to the skulduggery of his old chairman Tanzi. A real disaster. It's not as in the MLB, really not. The federation is in league with the big clubs. They split the money of the TV and sponsors, than the other clubs. They create a fracture to defend the interests of a few than many. A total failure and disaster.

My friends are open to learning the Baseball even because i play baseball or better....softball, in an amatorial club, the Red Foxes. Now i'm out from the season by damage to my knees (i'm catcher). I hope to get back to playing around September.

Really, i swear with all my heart, that soccer never take hold in North America. Knowing American entrepreneurship and the run-up to the business, it would be too easy to drop everything in a mere economic interest, in spite of the true spirit of sportsmanship. Here in Italy we know so much about this.

I like and i love baseball and his organization (generally speaking), because at first place there are the fans, then the clubs and their interests. Otherwise there would be no all the defense of the sport by doped players, from gamblers, who scam and who does not respect the fair morality of a sport.

I tried very hard to learn a lot of Italian only to find that everyone thought it was so broken - speak English they said. I wish I knew of Nettuno, I would have went there. We took the trains everywhere, the new red ones and treineitalia if I remember correctly.


Keeping on topic - Have we gotten any full description on how they decided to handle contracts? Last I saw, they only edited a few to keep free agents from being unsigned. Is that right?

Oh man, I'm as anxious and excited as anyone for OSFM to drop, but it's just a reminder that like I do every year, I'll be waiting for the Hybrids to come along, because it just makes this all so much better. I haven't seen anything about Sneezy doing pitch-edits, but then again, I don't read every post, but that's the cherry on top to the Hybrid's whip cream to OSFM's cake.

Thanks again everybody for your hard work, looking forward to enjoying these awesome rosters in the mean time!

I don't know if this is relevant here, but I'm torn on which team to use on Franchise (brought to you by OSFM). Twins? Meh. I want to use a mediocre team not a bad team.

The injuries doesn't matter when you start up your franchise as the CPU will auto fix that and put guys like Darvish in the rotation again for the major league team

No official word but what you wrote is how I've interpreted that it will be with the OSFM.
