You're not the only one. That seems to be a huge issue with a ton of people. They set it up incorrectly then they just toss the option to the side like it doesn't work properly. It's a completely different game when using 30 team control (Better game in my opinion) when it is used correctly. I always have and always will recommend 30 team control to all.

Remember way back in the day when we would get that mid season freeze because one of the other teams had a roster error. That's what originally lead to 30 team control and why I originally started to use it. Just to keep that from happening.

What about free agency and trades? How does that work?

Hey guys, let me start off by saying I appreciate the work you all put in year after year. It has allowed me to play a deep franchise in every game.

I was just wondering if there is an actual scheduled time for this release? If it has already been posted, I'm sorry, but the 30+ pages is too much for me to read through right now, haha.

Anyways, thanks again, looking forward to starting up my new franchise!

Same here. Now it's just habit. Plus I like giving the CPU a little help when managing their rosters and lineups.

What about free agency and trades? How does that work?

Same way. You can let the computer handle it or VETO any trade you don't like or think is unrealistic.

I personally don't do anything or change anything. I only use it as a maintenance tool in case something goes wrong. Or to push thru a off season trade that I think would have a neat effect on my imaginary baseball world.

It is also why I hope someday they give us the ability to name our save manually. It would make it much easier to run multiple franchises without getting confused.

11 PM in Finland. Still in denial about my franchise not starting before tomorrow, but acceptance slowly creeping in.

Watching Astros-Rangers game on my PS4, and waiting for these rosters to come up.

This is completely off-topic but amazing to see another Finn in the baseball forums! And from Lappeenranta as well. I lived there for 10 years or so before moving to Tampere in 2012.

With 30 team control you can VETO ANY CPU trade proposal. All you have to do is go through the pending transactions screen and cycle through the menus using R2-L2 until you see the proposed trades screen. Cycle through team by team and when you see a trade proposal you don't like just click on it and it give you the option to accept, view, or reject the trade. Take less than 1 minute of your time to do. With 30 team control I always follow the real life transactions so free agency isn't a problem, but I have seen the CPU sign free agents which is contrary to what some have said on these boards.

EDIT: Forgot to mention. Make sure you have instant trades turned off in order for this to work.

Really appreciate the work being done with these. Cant wait. I know this roster doesnt touch current mlb players equipment and ratings etc but are all trades up to date?

I'm really not sure why people ask for an ETA on rosters. It only leads to disappointment if the 'deadline' isn't met.
