Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
Just because I haven't played The Show since the rosters have been released - a whole three days - doesn't mean I'm not a fan of the product or disinterested in it.
I purchase The Show every year and am a big fan of what these guys do. They continually put out the best rosters year after year and their commitment to the quality and timeliness of it is seriously impressive. However, the purpose of this thread is to intelligently criticize the product to improve it.
While the guy who brought up the pitcher makeup certainly did not argue his point articulately, that doesn't discount the merit of the underlying point. Considering I have an interest in the product, I think it's easy to see why I'd want to make sure the underlying point doesn't get buried by the poor fashion in which it was presented.
I am not defending the poster as much as I am defending the merit of the issue raised.Comment

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
If anyone is interested, I uploaded a version 3 of my osfm rosters with os corrections straight from this thread and others on this site. this version 3 has the 40 man roster as I took from mlb today. took me a couple hours to do so. It is titled OSFM w/corrections/40 man. My psn is rdbsr45. I will also mentioned, do to a mistake on my part, there is a lot of players who ratings are edited in this version, I usually edit the players rating to what I feel they should be, and did so unintentionally on this roster so be for warn if you download and ratings are a little high for your taste. thanks and hope you enjoy the rosters, as I enjoy the great osfm rosters from the creators. Not changing this until the tigers retire #45 for Cecil Fielder

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
For those who dont wanna sit on their hands until the hybrid, worry not...
MY OSFM HYBRIDIZATION IS COMPLETE!
First time sharer, long time editor and talent evaluator. I decided to post my roster set this year. It took 2 days and featured an accidental overwrite of a nearly completed file, but it is done. The Roster set is designed for Franchise mode. I never control more than 1-2 teams so I have to make a roster set that I can trust the computer to manage. A lot of my work was done to bullpens and rotations to help make certain the computer wouldnt mess everything up once spring training ended. Example: Kevin Gregg and Jumbo Diaz were bumped up to low 70s in order to keep them on the roster.
The same thing was done for starting rotations and position players (ie Jose Ramirez and Chris Owings are rated higher than Aaron hill and mike aviles in my rosters) I also made some edits to players who i felt were unjustly rated or rated too high. Also converted Jason Werth to LF, swapped Granderson and Cuddyer to their correct positions, and moved around the Rays OF as well.
The set features an extensive edit of SCEA rosters. Heres a handful of examples of well known players who saw ratings boosts: Yordano Ventura, Brock Holt, Bluejays Castro, Familia, Votto, King Felix, Stanton, Soler, Yadi, G Polanco, Pujols, J. Upton, A. Simmons, Abreu. Again I edited every team extensively, not just big names.
I also did a few edits to OSFMs release, some of the corrections that were requested on this thread included. A lot of it was just tempering overconfident ratings for unproven prospects. Part of that is to slow their path to the majors for a more realistic experience. Here are a few more examples: I lowered the Power for Gallo/Bryant, the K ratings for cards relief (and fixed the guys who were too young), and lowered some of the potentials in Cleveland, and the overalls of Sano/Buxton. I also converted Robert Osuna to starter, thats what he will be eventually.
Anyway I hope you guys download it, its saved under my psn username Picards__Flute. I didnt import any players besides the se7en guys Jung Ho Kang, so if your a Braves fan wishing Lucas Sims was there, or a bluejays guy who loves DJ Davis, i suggest finding them in another set and importing to my roster. Thats what I am going to do eventually.
My rosters are only as strong as the foundation provided by Mills and OSFM creators. Thanks again everybody and happy Jackie Robinson Day!Comment

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
Let me know if theres any tiger prospects you want adjusted. I moved kinsler, jd martinez, iglesias, rondon and Dolis (ive actually watched him pitch, hes wild but i love his 2 seamer) up, cespedes and nathan down. Let me know (if you like it) of any overall changes to young prospects youd like to see. Detroit's one of those quiet farm systems you dont hear about much.Comment

Dixon Llorens ratings are wrong. I forgot to adjust his numbers to A/AA. The number you see are what he would be if he put up those numbers in the MLB. Oops!

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
Anyone have Toronto's prospects saved somewhere ? Ones I found in the vault are awful copies of eachother with just name/skin colour changed. I'm dying to get started here , waiting patiently, but a few of us want the prospects back in. Willing to do all the work, fixes and etc. I just wanna get to workComment

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
Are these being worked on by anyone at all or is this just a list....its really unclear.
I'd rather wait for these to be officially released but if no one is actually moving on them I may look into some of the ones completed by others mentioned in this thread.
Any answer on this in any way would be appreciated.Former Bison, Argonaut, TSN and Sportsnet employee.
