Maybe i am mistaken, but i was under the impression that SCEA scanned all the players faces at spring training, and essentially had the face scans on deck waiting for the players to be called up. What a disappointment.

I could wait for OSFM V2, but honestly, most of the changes they will make will have no affect on me. Don't know a lot of the missing prospects and wouldn't know someone had a wrong number unless I read a post saying that.

Just as a heads up, as SCEA announced the full list of guys they added late yesterday, this roster is missing two:

Tampa 1B Allan Dykstra

and

Atlanta RP Brandon Cunniff

You can import them if you'd like. Dykstra is a decent prospect for Tampa.

Hey all,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I just uploaded a roster to the vault. The roster has the following:

OSFM v1 updated with 40 man rosters, plus the new SCEA players that were added in today's update were imported over their OSFM counterparts.

It's up under my PSN (MillenniumOS) if anyone wanted something this custom.

As always, thank you to Ridin', Knight and the entire OSFM crew. Without their hard work and dedication, none of the rosters we are using would be possible.

Thanks for the tip. Just out of curiousity, and sorry if you've already answered this, but how did you go about choosing who to put back into the 40 man roster? Did you match the real ones?

Matched as many of the real ones as I could. Did the guys who were on the DL first, then guys in the system by highest rating/potential (based on their real life 40 man status)

Oh, so real life DL guys are back on rosters instead of A ball?
EDIT: Nevermind, I get it, you still have DL guys removed from the starting 25, you just made sure they ended up on the 40 man roster. Is that it?

Brilliant, thanks Millennium. I had started to look into modifying the OSFM roster so you just saved me a ton of time. I'm like you and don't need perfect opening day rosters and I like my own universe starting and moving forward. Looks like I can start my franchise tonight.

Oh, so real life DL guys are back on rosters instead of A ball?
EDIT: Nevermind, I get it, you still have DL guys removed from the starting 25, you just made sure they ended up on the 40 man roster. Is that it?

Kind of - Injured guys in A ball on 25 man roster will never be moved up, unless there is an injury.

The 40 man rosters still have the injured players in A ball, but once you complete spring training the computer will move the players accordingly. So you will not have correct opening day lineups and rotations as you will with the 25 man roster set.

I hope I explained that correctly.

This may be a bit of a "obvious" question but how did you go about doing this?

Did you export all the the OSFM V1 (I am guessing 99% minor leaguers) then import them into the SCEA update?

I don't expect a real long answer just curious though. I probably wont be able to start my franchise for another week or two and was wondering if this would be easily replicated when the new SCEA updated comes next week?

Actually , the other way around. I expected the new guys from the SCEA roster then imported them into the OSFM.

Sorry, I'm reading this over and over again and not understanding. So, with these rosters, when you start a season, you'll have to reset the lineups after spring training (naturally) and then you'll also have to deal with all the DL players showing up in starting lineups as well? Is that right?

I didn't see all of them but the ones I've seen are definetly not scanned. It's weird though because I saw a thread were Russell was asking for rosters with good caps and Willard said he'd send him the OSFM ones. He clearly didn't use them. maybe they didn't like them
