This sounds like a problem with the OSFM file in general. Not just exclusive to my roster. Hope we get a patch.

For what it's worth, I'm not associated with the OSFM or Hybrid rosters at all but I think it's a little misleading to take the OSFM work & the Hybrid methodology and put a set out there that combines their names. It seems like you could have set your work apart from theirs with a slightly more distinctive name for the thread title & rosters themselves. I think it would be beneficial for it to be clearer to everyone.

I asked him first. I did nothing wrong. I helped a good deal with the OSFM rosters as well. It sounds to me like the problem is I used the name? I don't understand why it's such a big deal. I put in the work.

I said that in the very first post. I'm sorry you find it disappointing. But personally I find it equally disappointing that you take the time to come into my thread to say that. I put in TONS of my own free time to help the community with this roster. I'm sorry it's an "imitation" in your eyes. I don't come into other people's threads and disparage their hard work.

Where to even begin? How do you teach that which is unteachable?

If I am Coca Cola and I make some of my recipe public and then someone else starts selling "Coca Cola"...do you think there might be issues with that? Not only is it fairly derivative, it's misleading to the customer.

I have not looked at your roster nor will I although I'm sure you did a fine job on it. My main issue is not with you assimilating my hard work and that of my roster-mates (which is not a big issue--we all do that), but with actually titling your roster to be the same thing as what we do. That completely went against the only criterion that I asked from you (to name it something else) when you mentioned what you were doing in the Hybrid thread.

Yes, it's just a roster blah blah blah, but it's also people's hard work and even more relevant, it's confusing to people who consume these rosters much in the same way fake OSFM is a problem.

I'm sure there are some who will enjoy your roster and are glad to have it, but on some level you kind of have to realize what you messed up on, right? Using our data to scoop our title? I just would've named it something else and avoided this. It's that simple.

I'm sure you put in a lot of work and did a ton so thank you for that but WTNY has a point that it's a little misleading. I'm sure roster is legit, but if you named it something like Reds Fan OSFM Hybrid it wouldn't be a problem, there are a ton of people like you putting work into the 'real' OSFM Hybrid as well, so it is a tad misleading that you named it OSFM Hybrid if it's not the one that Willard is heading up
