      Hey Quest,

You're doing an awesome job on these. Much appreciated!

Quick question.. Will you also be editing pitchers K and BB ratings? I've noticed these are very off too. Especially for starting pitchers. David Price had something like a 72 K rating and the guy struck out 270 last season. It took me awhile to figure out why I was having some trouble to get the CPU to swing and miss more and I'm positive that's the culprit.

It's mainly the starters with very low K ratings. Sometimes way too low.

So the numbers in the command and move columns are the numbers we input into the game?

Also only for the 2014 Q players and pitches in bold added if the player doesn't have them in game already?

Sheet is kind of confusing me.

However, you're the one making it, so I'll leave it up to you.

Finally, I think I've decided, that unless Jeezy comes out with his by the day Willard's roster drops, we'll probably use yours for the pitch edits. I know you'll be putting some in, but I think Husker and a couple others were willing to help input the edits (me included). I'm going to start putting together a sheet to do shifts with and work on.

count me in as someone who will help with grunt work when the hybrid drops as well. gotta have my pitch edits

Thanks! Won't be editing anything other than pitch ratings, though I'd imagine that will be part of what Willard and ilstu are doing. Will leave that to them.

The bolded stuff is more for tracking purposes, it doesn't affect what you need to put into the game. If you were just adding this on top of a roster that already had seanjeezy's '14 edits those would be all that you need. Presumably you're adding them into an SCEA roster so you'd need every pitch's velocity/command/break entered for every pitcher.

Looking at Eric Stults for the Braves. His 4 Seam FB break in the game is 63 and the sheet has it at 83. That seems like a really big jump to make. What will that do to his fastball?

20 points of break on a FB is very very hard to see in game.

Ok, I just wanted to make sure. I think what I am going to do is only input teams I know I will be playing throughout my Franchise.

One more question, some pitches don't have a number for command. For example, Brad Brach on the Orioles has a Sinker listed which is not on his pitch list in game. If I add a Sinker to his pitch types, what would I input for command since it will default at 0? You have his velocity and movement listed for that pitch.

Not trying to be a pain with all the questions. Just don't want to input a bunch of stuff and have to change it later. Thanks man.

That's actually a good question. I think I'd probably average out the command ratings on his other pitches and use that for his sinker.

Ok, I will give that a shot. Really appreciate all the work you are doing on this sheet. By the looks of it, it appears you have put a ton of time into and a ton more to come. Hope you've been able to enjoy playing the game besides doing ratings.

Couldn't find Christ Heston (SF) on the list. He's been the Giants second best starter this year so far. His pitch types are all off, anyone have any advice on pitch edits for him?

I added him to my list of new players so I'll do him along with the rest of the Giants. A little tough because he's got a limited resume before this year and I'm trying not to include 2015 data.

Crazy idea, but for the extremely horizontal change ups, use a really slow 2Seam? I just tried it out on Clippard, with an 82 mph 2Seam and like 95 movement and it absolutely devastated the CPU. However, the CPU may not use it correctly and keep throwing it upstairs. It would also only work for SCEA guys.

Will guys with role changes, like Carlos Martinez, get extra attention here? Stuff is much different as a SP then out of bullpen.

Also, do you mind if I incorporate these into my roster?

It's not a bad idea, though I'd probably use forkballs instead. They behave exactly like splitters except they hardly break downwards. It doesn't make much sense to me as a forkball should probably break harder than any of the other changeups. I may convert all the guys from last year with forkballs to splitters - having no break on it really hurts guys like Tazawa that rely on it.

As I go through the NL I'll keep on eye on guys that might benefit from a high break forkball - giving them the run they're due without nasty drop. Not slogging back through the 500 guys in the AL again. My cutoff would probably be guys with >6" Hmov and Vmov.
