2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released

I've still got about 10 or 11 guys to get done and I have a message out with the original creator of some of the great draft CAP makers to see if he'd be willing to help me but no response yet. I am trying to figure out if I am just gonna go ahead and release it as is with 10 or 11 guys missing faces but having accurate attributes and accessories. When all is said and done I am going to have every pick up to and including #37 and then Nathan Kirby

No rush redsox. Might as well release it fully completed w/ all faces. Motown might be your best bet for sure since he's a face-creating genius lol [emoji106]🏽 Moss44 has the eye for details as well so hopefully somebody helps out, but this is great nonetheless to have come this far [emoji2]

Willard can you upload roeman fields without the service time .On the jays2 roster he has mlb service time.

I do want to update ratings for guys who have blown expectations out of the water - Joey Butler, Kevin Pillar, Luis Vabuena etc. I will need to try to figure out your formula or a system to update it somehow.

I'd add Stephen Vogt to that list and to some extent Brandon Crawford offensively

That okay by the way the reason i contuine to ask for missing prospect or prospect to replace due to milb ,mb transaction.I perfer to use your caps and how you rate them .So when i ask for willard, wake,teed and other for assistance .It's not for my own benefit it for the os community.Im currently monitoring this thread to see if you or wake,teed plan to release a updated roster .I have updated every team mlb,milb roster including tabarnes contracts edits ,lineups,trades,transaction ,rotations, secondary postion and prospect promoted.

This is weird, when I went to download the OSFM roster, it downloaded perfectly fine but when I went to load it into my franchise it said "load failed"....wtf happened?

As I said before right now I am not planning on doing anything new for a bit except for playing. I am completely burnt out from creating. If I get the urge to create anything, I would wait for for the next update before I considered updating again regardless.

I wouldn't get too hung up on editing up some of these surprise guys. A recent article on Grantland from the analytics experts details how Crawford, Vogt, and some others mentioned around here as needing ratings bumps are probably do for a big fall. Reason? According to the analytics folks, most of their success is due to luck. Extremely high batting in average of ball in play, not having that high of a level on how hard they are hitting the ball, etc. It's linked right now on the front page of the ESPN website for anyone who cares. But my point is that it's always questionable to jump into doing huge edits for guys after half a season. I'd more inclined to avoid that and let users who want a particular player to make a jump do their own edits. Same reason I wouldn't jump at downgrading some others guys (also mentioned in the article) who are hitting the ball hard and just having some bad luck.

I did not do those ratings but if you look many pitchers have lower control ratings which only truly present themselves with confidence and I have found create amazingly realistic gameplay

This is the exact reason I don't like doing updated ratings on the roster. Pitchers can fall back to the norm as do most hitters over the course of a season. The only time I would update is when a player is overachieving power wise.

I'm not sure to what extent or even where I am going with it, but I have started working on an update aiming for the trade deadline. No promises that it will happen for sure as my family and I are looking at possibly a cross country trip in the next few weeks, but I will update as I move along.
