Also MLB The Show Tips Twitter said "ROSTER UPDATE Devs: no weekly roster update for another 2 weeks or so as stats start accumulating. Inside Edge will still update daily"

So I guess new rookies may not be added for awhile to use in OSFM as a player base.

Wow just saw this too on Twitter. I can never recall waiting a few weeks after release for a roster update. I assume a few is at least three weeks. That would put us at 4-25 for first update.

I can't remember who on here posted it, or if it was even this thread, but for those having trouble waiting for the roster, play Diamond Dynasty, specifically conquest mode. I always wrote that mode off before, but wow, it's actually a lot of fun. Whoever thought of conquest mode should get a gold star, because it's so cool. Like a Baseball strategy game.

Ramone Russell just confirmed and said on twitter "For the guys asking about the first roster update. It won't be until 11th or the 18th because there are so many new guys needing approval."

You're right. It is someone's job to do the ratings and he did them. Now if it's your opinion that he's wrong then luckily Sony gave us the option to edit them.

You guys look like a nice couple in your picture and thank-you for your service. I can't tell exactly what uniform you have on but thanks, just the same.

Well theirs the hint that it won't be out till before the 18th anytime soon because of the first roster update not being till then.

Guess that means OSFM gonna have to work 5 times as hard because so many missing Vets are not in the game this year for some unknown reason

Just because there has been some confusion, can I ask if version 1 will be a build off of the Day 1 roster and not the opening day roster update? Thanks for your hard work!

Are you talking about the OSFM roster not being released until the 18th, or just the SCEA version of the first roster update not being released until the 18th? Sorry I am just a little confused.

V1 will be based on the first SCEA roster update (or the 2nd depending on what the initial update looks like)

Ridiculous is when a guy who got optioned to AAA (despainge) is 11 overalls higher than the guy who made the starting 5 (Wright) on opening day. If that's an accurate reflection of ratings then thank the baseball gods you aren't the one making any decisions.

I know you aren't objective because your team was stacked in last years game. Probably the deepest roster in the game overall. So don't call me out for not being objective. My claim was completely logical. You don't need to be a fanatical Orioles fan to agree.

Did you actually look at the ratings though? Seems like you're just comparing overalls and that's not really the best way to evaluate what a player can contribute to their ball club.
