I was wondering if we could do this again this year; I read somewhere that people anticipated problems with 2015 imported rosters because of the new player morale feature-- is there any truth to this?

I noticed that players that were 65+ overall wanted to be an Ace or an Everyday player. It really screws up the system for franchise mode carry overs

It doesn't make as much of a difference ratings-wise as you would think it does, affects all teams equally, and it auto-corrects itself at the end of the current season.

The stats issues are the only ones that linger.

I'm just excited that the game has been out for 5 days so we are at least that much closer to the day they come out. Can't be too long now. I'll be caught up with the season within a week most likely after they come out

Good edit for the thread title, but may I suggest also adding something like: "Official OSFM roster to be uploaded by Ridin or Knight"?

That way you shouldn't get anymore questions if the fake OSFM rosters in the vault now are the offical rosters and those fakes won't be downloaded by unsuspecting people on here.

I'm new to this (First baseball game since The Show 08 or 09). How does this actually work? How do you even get the minor league roster into your game when they're officially posted?

Hey, to those of you out there making the roster. Just thought I would inform you of the latest roster move I have heard of. According to MLBTradeRumors the White Sox have just signed right hander Miguel Gonzalez to a minor league deal. Just thought I would be nice and inform you guys of that. Keep up the good work and look forwarding to seeing the finished product once it is truly ready to be released.

We put all the minor league players into a roster...
You would have to download the roster and begin a new franchise with the set.

so Knight and Ridin and a few others will know what I'm talking about but I thought I'd go ahead and actually post it here. For the last several years I have wanted a file that is ideal to use for guys like me who keep things as close to "real life" as possible. By that I mean, a file that is good for 30-team control where you can control all aspects of every team, including making all teams' call ups/send downs, DL stints, trades, etc. For several years, someone would upload a FRANCHISE FILE that was uploaded AFTER spring training so line ups and rotations would stick and we would all use the jump drive method to get it onto our systems. I believe last year that option went away because now FRANCHISE FILES are tied to the owner. I believe our "work around" was to release a 25-man roster ROSTER FILE of the OSFM. Basically I think someone would take the OSFM and make sure every team was at only 25 men on the active roster because if you had any more, that was when line ups/rotations were getting messed up when you would sim thru Spring Training.

So....long story short...does this sound like I remembered correctly about the type of file I would need? It is, in fact at ROSTER file with the 25-man rosters set? If so, can someone help me release that file or can someone else take care of releasing it for us? I can't remember who did it last year but I know someone (or a few guys?) did.

I do plan on starting my thread again to track all the IN-SEASON transactions since people seemed to like/want that thread. I'll ask for a sticky soon. I will probably pick up from April 5th or so.

Don't be surprised if I copy/paste this message into it's own thread if I don't get any feedback within this thread.

I can;t believe some of th players they have left out of the game

matt belisle is missing complexity from the game he is the Nats setup guy, whats interesting is if you start a MLB 15 franchise he is siting in the free agents and also has a portrait!! so he is indeed hidden on the disk, just wish they had ALL the players on the disk that should be and he played in the majors last year. Very frustrating to find this after starting a franchise and having no way to get him into it now.

I can understand the missing rookies and players that didn't play last year like phillips for the Os, but I HATE missing Vetran players it creates to much more work

Hey knight I know you aren't doing work on these rosters this year but are you or anyone else going to update them weekly like you did last season after the release.

Im not even sure if Knight,Ridin have tested if there will be any issue with a 25 man roster.

I really like the new equipment. Really disappointed they removed a bunch of stuff though. All the equipment they removed a lot of players are still wearing it. This really only aoplies to batting gloves and cleats. Other than that tings are looking good. Downside to the Franklin Power Strap is for some players you won't be able to get color schemes correct.

Watching Mets vs Royals Mike Moustakas is wearing the powerstrap with neon knuckle colors. When applying neon to the knuckle in the show the area around the logo will be neon when in actuality it's blue.

I hope next year they bring back all the old equipment they took out and actually expand.

Also I hope they make the logo color it's own separate entity in the editor.
