Unfortunately no.
I also wish we could designate the top 50 prospects(there is never 50 ) etc.

Guys....Ridin' and Willard...Motown...drsublime, myself and the other editors are cranking.
We still have a lot of importing...it's time consuming....and are a bit too far for a serious ETA.
I myself don't want to give any ETA, since the bulk of the work is on Ridin' right now(the importing)
When he gives me the heads up....I'll pass it along...promise.

That didn't go away once you started the franchise that way?

Not sure if everyone else has seen WTNY's thread on progression/regression (http://www.operationsports.com/forum...iscussion.html), but one of his initial discoveries is that velocity and break for pitches don't seem to progress at all. I did one sim of my own and even tried to improve those attributes with training, but saw no movement whatsoever.

We may want to consider making sure all pitching prospects have their max velo/break for their pitches.

Pitching stamina didn't appear to progress much either with the players I tested. It went up by 1 whole point over an entire career before declining.

Whatever the number is, the "I don't want to read XX pages" is always a bad excuse because the search feature is exactly for solving that problem.

1. Boost attributes of player you want to have Top 50 icon and make sure he's not on an MLB team and on a AAA or AA team or A.
2. Begin test Franchise and start the season. That player should now have the Top 50 icon because his attributes are so high.
3. Export player.
4. Import player back over that player in OSFM roster. He should now have the Top 50 icon.
5. Revert attributes back to normal.

The same can be done for any players that have a Top 50 icon, but actually shouldn't. Just decrease their attributes and follow the steps and it goes away so you import over. again

That way the actual 50 players will display with a Top 50 icon. It will display in Roster Control and Exhibition games.

But unfortunately once you want to begin an actual franchise, the Top 50 does goes away and the game decides who based on attributes. But I think it's still worth it. This has worked the last 2 years. Have not tried yet this year.

Ok thanks I was just wondering. I noticed that every time I sim a season in this game with the SCEA rosters that the average ERA for a SP is very high. Also, certain teams that are good in real life such as the Royals struggled. I've simmed a year tonight in two different seasons and in both KC went under .500 by about 20 games.
