Hey guys! I have a question! Been using this roster for years but my team (Jays) hasn't really had many rule 5 guys make the team in recent years. Because I have never had one on my franchise I am just curious how it works with the Roster. Will actual Rule 5 guys somehow maintain their rule 5 status? Or rather are they just put on the team? Either way is great and I am just thrilled to have these for my franchise again! Thanks a lot!

I'm just glad to have the real minors. I'm a big baseball fan but outside of the 40 man rosters and top top prospects (Correa and Lindor two years ago for example) I don't know jack about the minors.

I've just been doing a season with the Mets while waiting.

Hi, guys. First off, I want to say that the hard work and dedication you put in to make these rosters is truly amazing. The rosters you all create are truly outstanding. I got annoyed when I have to adjust player ratings to my liking in Madde, NBA 2k, and MLB The Show every year. But to make the full minor league rosters for each and every MLB team is truly outstanding. The work you guys put in, I wouldn't have the time nor patience to be able to do that myself so the fact that you guys do this every year, just a big Thank you for all your hard work. Second I am just wondering something about the initial first release osfm roster. Not sure if you already answered this in a previous post or not and if you did sorry for asking it again. But two things. 1) are you going add major league roster changes, like spring training free agent signings and trades and 2) will international free agent offseason signings such as Kenta Maeda and Byung-ho Park be in the initial roster or will they be added to an update osfm down the line at a later date? Thanks for answering my questions and cannot wait to see the amazing work put in once the roster is finally released.

I agree. However, the young guys are just excited, which is how we want them, I think, to carry this work forward for years to come. I remember what that felt like, so I'd ask everyone to cut them a little slack.

The Indians are missing a player named Tyler Naquin. He Plays Left Field.

He had an excellent spring. Can we please get him added in?

Thank you for all your dedication and work you put into making these rosters. I have been using these for the last couple of years and they are truly enjoyable. My question is it seems like a lot of people use these rosters in franchise mode. I only play season mode and most of the time I never complete a full season. This year I am going to attempt to play 162 games. If it were you would you wait for these rosters or good ahead ans start my season.

The 2nd one. There's no way to give a guy "Rule 5" status via the editor. Any Rule 5 picks will just be on their current rosters.

You mean Naquin isn't in Sony's roster? That's the whole point of OSFM--to put in guys who are not part of the MLB Players Association. Naquin hasn't debuted yet, so he shouldn't be in Sony's roster. I'd think that OSFM will for sure include Naquin.

yeah, no need to worry here. Naquin has been a part of the OSFM sets since MLB 14. I've pitched against him several times.

Should Bumgarner have an actual Cutter pitch instead of a 2-seam? I don't ever hear of or seen Bum use a 2-seam pitch.

I feel like having only a slider would have unrealistic movement running into righties, because he does alter the amount of movement depending on righty/lefty situations.

I noticed the same thing with Jake Arrieta. He throws one of the nastiest cutters in MLB and its not on the game this year. I love the work OSFM does and would gladly pay for their rosters if need be, but I usually go through the rosters afterwards to make a couple tweaks.

Yeah, I thought that was weird, too. I'm really not sure why he's not in.

Broxton is on the Brewers 40 man isn't he? I thought that's how SCEA did the rosters, they included all guys on the 40 man roster? So it's really odd he's not in the game.

Side note, I remember watching Broxton play in AA Altoona thinking he'd be something for the Pirates. So much for that.
