It's okay to wait a bit longer so that all the rosters are set exactly, lineups and rotations, minor league rosters will be more more accurate and any new SCEA added players in a Monday update. I think the Monday after the first MLB week has the most new players who debuted opening week.

I've seen a ton of appreciation being given on here. It's unfortunate that from day 1 EVERY single person who has asked for even a guesstimated ETA has received a snarky answer. You know what? Say a month. Boom. Done. Will it be a month? Unlikely, but if answer is there, people will stop asking. Instead it's "No, and stop asking you whiny ****s!".



I love the OSM rosters. I'll use them again this year for sure. The work that goes into getting them out there is HUGE. But, the question is being asked because if it's going to be a week, people are going to want to wait to start a franchise. If it's going to be a month, people are going to start. I don't think that most of us are being impatient, rather we're excited for this to happen so that we can get into our favorite game modes.

I have to say...I'm as eager as anybody for these rosters to drop. The fact that we as a community can't show a bit of patience and appreciation for what amounts to charity work by these guys, makes me lose faith in humanity a bit.

I'm sure a lot of you will respond and call me douchy, but to be honest I could care less what a bunch of whiny brats think. For years I've watched people grow more and more impatient and felt I needed to say my piece.

i agree let's wait but maybe other issues should be saved for losing your faith in humanity. Actually that you still have it makes me envious.

Yeah...this is 100% false. Most people don't read through the thread, or even read the first page. So even if an ETA was given people would still ask. Case and point, you say you just want a 'ballpark' answer, but you even referenced an assumed ETA based on last year...yet you are still asking. I've seen roster projects miss an ETA before, and the forums explode. It's a no win situation for those putting in their hard work. Just be patient. Or don't. You said yourself that if the ETA were given as a month then people would start there franchise now. If you're ok with that then why not go ahead and do that? You can always come back to the OSFM rosters when they are released.

instead of asking "when does the roster comes out" keep yourself busy go for a walk or something.

Or better yet, how about someone make some sick Diamond Dynasty unis for their team. I swear, I've only played one guy who actually customized his team's uniforms.

we are working on it

it will be done when its done, really no point to ask no one working on it will give an eta. Its also not like it will be done and one of us wont post it right away, its a huge deal and a ton of work and we want to show it off as soon as we can.

everyone really has to realize, Knight has been doing this out of the goodness in his heart and his love for baseball for years, for flipping free and others have jumped on board to help out along the years and helped speed along and improve the rosters in their own ways, but we again all are doing it for free in our spare time because we want to help get this out to the community as quickly as possible but with a finished roster that is premium quality.
This game is about little details, little details are tedious and take time but when they are right they make all the difference.

Operation Sports tweeted out 2-3 weeks until the rosters are finished. I'm guessing they would know best unless some of these guys say otherwise. But use that as kinda a starting point

I actually agree with this. I think the issue is all the people who don't appreciate it, and are just douches. Those people (understandably so) are the ones who make everyone else get the snarky responses. The exact reason I'm curious, is because I want to know when to start my franchise. If the rosters come out in May, I'll start w/ the 150 prospects and make a couple changes. If they come out April 12th, then I'll wait. Someone said just start and come back. Unfortunately nobody wants to play 3-4 weeks with a franchise, and then just start over. Again, I'm not asking when they'll be done, because I don't feel like being chastised over it, and I am super appreciative of these rosters. I don't even know if I would get 25% of the time in on The Show, if these weren't available. Thanks to Knight, and everyone who has put time into these, and even the people making suggestions. My 2020 Red Sox with Yoan Moncada, Espinoza, Devers, and other young guns really, REALLY appreciate them!

People want an ETA just so they can feel comfortable. It's really not that hard to be patient. Play RTTS or diamond dynasty or sim through a couple seasons to get peek at franchise mode. Try out different hitting modes and/or cameras.

There is plenty to do and no reason to give an ETA. These guys have set the precedent with exceptional work, completed in a timely manner.
