I don't know what I was thinking on my 90 man but 1) I have a 2nd Olson that should be Chapman and 2) I left 5 spots out so I have some room now.

      I'm thinking of adding in
      Degano
      Dermis Garcia
      Hishagioka
      Fiorito
      Herrera

Also does anybody have a CAP for
      Ty Hensley
      Caleb Smith
I haven't changed any ratings yet. Don't see the point since I'll be using the Hybrid Ratings when the time comes. Some of them are imported from last year's set, some of them are from Sink's roster, and then of course OSFM V1 (not the edits that were made today.) as well.

        Sink4ever,
Is Johnny Barbato an SCEA rated player? If so, would his rating be adjusted for the Hybrid for whenever that comes out? He is absolute fire. His ERA is still 0...

UPDATE: Barbato gave up a run ):
Yeah, Barbato is a SCEA player. He, and many other relievers, could use a ratings adjustment.

sink4ever do you have mateo rating from last year osfm. If not his arm strength, arm accuracy, reaction and fielding ablity .I really like to lower and idea on his rating for his level he currently on.

I figured some of the guys were imported from last year. I don't think I'm going to wait for the hybrid especially since they've already said they are not going to do a drastic ratings overhaul like previous years. It's kinda like why wait another month when it won't make a difference on most of guys who I'll see in my franchise.

EDIT: oh hell, I guess the issues with 1.0 and 1.5 are substantial enough that waiting for 2.0 is worth it. I guess I'll stick to my converted franchise for a while.

Re: OSFM 2016: New York Yankees

Okay, so I went ahead and reworked my roster for the Yankees. Outside of research I've been listening to as many minor league games as possible to get some impressions of the players.

The two AAA players I left off are Cesar Puello and Debinson Romero. I just don't see either making the majors any time soon and will likely be scrapped when some guys come off of injuries or others progress. I'm gonna put them in FA list in case things change. The only ranked positional players I didn't include were #40 Isiah Gilliam and #55 Carlos Vidal. I possibly could have sacrificed #53 Chris Gittens and Donny Sands but Gittens hitting ability has many intrigued and Sands is being converted to a Catcher. His upside and lack of depth past Sanchez and Torrens could make him an asset down the line.

The highest ranked pitching prospect not included is #36 Chaz Hebert. I chose Ty Hensley over him simply because he's a former #1 who if he wasn't constantly injured would likely be considered much higher than #39. The pitchers were hard because there is very little difference between "prospects" (mediocre group in general) and non prospects.

              Any feedback would be great!

I like this roster, this is probably something close to what I'm going to have my roster look like when I start my Franchise. It does suck that you have to waste roster spots on minor league veterans who aren't going to be on the team for more than maybe one season.

With the OSFM version updated I'm stoked to get started on my franchise. By chance have any of you guys updated your CAPS/rosters on the vault? I'd love to see your latest efforts?

I could load mine in there tonight. I think it's got some of the best faces I've done plus edits to ones that were is OSFM and CAPs in the vault.

Awesome! I believe from the 2.0, yours and sinks I the only guys I'm missing are Hensley and Sands. Between the bunch I'll be able to put together a nice roster! I wish I had 15 cuz I can just move him from last years but I'll just copy his ratings from my franchise. Sands should be fun to make, a relatively mobile catcher, good arm, weak field (learning C) with good contact and little power.

I'll put them in the vault or upload my roster when I'm done.

Anyone have a roster up with the OSFM 2.5 edits and 40man? 2.5 is missing Avelino, Wade, and others.

Maaaayyybbbeee I can get one up tonight...mine will pretty much be the roster above with the 40 man. I will have tweaked the actual ratings on about 5 guys (Shreve, Pazos, Pinder, German, Camarena) and overall resorted the potentials for minor leaguers (according to the prospect scale above) BUT I did keep the scale, whereas Sanchez, Kaprellian are now A's, Refsnyder, Acevedo are now B's etc, but Park, Holder, Cessa are now Cs instead of Bs...you get the idea. (The overall actual rating went from 60.56 to 60.48 and the potential went from 76.52 to 75.94)

It's taken me longer than expected due to the weather here in Oklahoma the past couple of days.

                              UPDATE:
I went ahead and put it up under my user name...warning though, i didn't finish it all the way so the minor league lineups are messed up, Donny Sands is rated but face not accurate...but it's better than nothing.

thanks so much. Hope all is well, heard the flooding is quite bad near you.

a couple of edits you may consider:

overall changes for Fowler, Wade, Jhalan Jackson, and Domingo Acevedo. More so Wade cause people in single A are rated higher yet wade is in Double A. 55 just seems a little low. 60's somewhere would be better.
