Yeah, that's the issue with how I do it. You can't edit players who were drafted until after the 2015 retirees are shown. So the first retirement period is a throwaway but after that you can control how many players retire in future years by editing their age like I mentioned above. Which is another reason why my roster has so many 'new players' and 'new pitchers.' I kinda polices how many actual players retire the first year.

If there is someone you are afraid is a potential candidate to retire, then the immediatly following the world series write down their contact & power rating. Then bump it to 99. After the player retire screen is done, fix power & contact rating back.T-BONE.

I noticed on the streams...looks as though players under contract do not retire due to injury any longer. Also didn't see any player with higher attributes that were younger retire due to injury.
I've been asking for quite awhile.so fingers are crossed.
