Ugh, thats even worse than I had noticed. Inputting pitch edits is laborious enough, when I do mine I will probably settle for "close enough" for once so that I don't go crazy lol.

The upside is, even if you do mistake 5 clicks for 8 or whatever, at most you're off by ~0.1-0.3 mph. This is pretty negligible in the games.

It's been that way the last 2 or 3 series maybe longer from what I can remember. I always remember some pitches has more clicks. Pain in the butt especially when it's not SCEA players, those are worse!

I didn't really notice it last year. Maybe I had done so much data entry that I had already turned into a robot by then.

Not a big deal for SCEA guys (again, being off by a few tenths of 1 mph at most on some pitches is not noticeable in games), but the fully editable ones have always been a challenge. There's never been any rhyme or reason for those players. Just trial and error until the velocity bars stop moving.

Osfm is out so I'm gonna add these manually to them. One thing though is I wish you could show how many clicks it takes for the velocity setting for each pitch. That's what I struggle with. I see you guys talking about it but I'm kinda still confused I guess. Any tips would be great.

                Some tips...

Why don't you start a recruiting thread for this? No reason to do the work all yourself if you and 3-4 other like-minded gents can coordinate on it and share the work. I know that 2 or 3 other guys at least have been lurking around here asking the same questions as you.

Aside from that, the data entry is not hard at all; you just need to start editing and you'll get faster as you get more practice. Everything you need to know you'll learn from trial and error. Don't think too much would be my final tip: See pitch edit, enter pitch edit!

Well I'm just working on the Mariners pitchers since I'm playing as them.

                    Trying to enter pitch edits,

How do I remove a pitch from a pitcher?!

UPDATE: nevermind, I figured it out - you have to start from their final pitch and find none, then it becomes available for the next one, and so on.

Can't have any fewer than 3 pitches though. So for 2-pitch pitchers, you make something up for the 3rd pitch.

I'm going to be editing in your pitch edits. Here within a couple of days, I will be sharing my ratings calculator with OS. It has been updated, and I'm planning on even utilizing a method to come up with ratings for minor league guys too. Your pitch edits automatically come up anytime you pull up any pitcher's ratings. I'll be sure and give you credit in the thread. For guys you didn't put in this year, I've used previous year's numbers.

Who plans on adding these Pitch Edits to Version 2 OSFM when it releases? If you need help let me know.

I would be willing to help also, I would need some direction on how to get the players to who ever is compiling them. That is something I have never done.

What is the solution that you guys use if the pitch you are trying to edit, is unable to match the stats for that pitch?

Case in point is Kimbrel's knuckle-curve edit, is not available at the speed at which he actually throws it. So, do you just max out the rating for the highest possible speed that it can attain, or is there a work around for a guy that actually throws an 89 mph knuckle curve?
