re: MLB on FOX: 2016 OPENING DAY ROSTERS RELEASED
@Houston, do you think that theres a chance to get a release this week or is it looking more like next week? the work you put in on these rosters is nothing but top notch quality and this will make the game even better just like the OSFM that came out earlierMadden 18Kansas City ChiefsYr 1 (0-0) Pre-Season (0-1)

Houston, sorry for all of the questions. I would definetly be willing to import the equipment edits from the Hybrid guys docs. That is only for the MLB players. Just wondering, do the CAPs that you have made have someone accurate equipment or did you leave it default?Last edited by Daonlyjmo7; 09-05-2016, 03:37 PM.Check out my dynasty: Rise to the Top: The Coaching Career of Joshua Morgan (NCAA 14)Comment

re: MLB on FOX: 2016 OPENING DAY ROSTERS RELEASED
Everyone still following these rosters/Houston, I will be doing the equipment edits using the 5 docs on the Hybrid 2.0 thread, and will be looking over stances and motions by looking at these 4 threads:
Stances: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...nces-only.html
Stance/Pitching Motions:
http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ery-edits.html
Prospect Stances/Motions:
http://www.operationsports.com/forum...s-motions.html
Pitcher Stances:
http://www.operationsports.com/forum...e-project.html
Does anyone else have any ideas of more misc. edits that there are threads in the forums on? I might be doing contracts after I do equipment (I probably will), but I don't know.
Houston, is there anything else that you know of that you may have left out?
Once again, thank you so so so much.Check out my dynasty: Rise to the Top: The Coaching Career of Joshua Morgan (NCAA 14)Comment

re: MLB on FOX: 2016 OPENING DAY ROSTERS RELEASED
I stuck with this project with the ups and downs and quiet a bit of setbacks. I haven't quiet got where they need to be but most of the steps I originally put down have been completed. I would have liked to get a few more of those steps in before I release these.
Anyways my friend there's way to much time and effort just to give up and release these and I never do a half-a** job on my rosters. I am weighing on if I can get those last few things done before I just call it quits.

The chart those guys have is not every team and it was off of OSFM if something was already done they didn't add that to the sheet so it makes it hard to do the equipment because your not sure if something needs to be changed they didn't mention. Not trying to knock them because they do a great job just wish it was all documented regardless if something was already there.Last edited by Houston; 10-15-2016, 03:43 AM.Youtube: https://youtube.com/@mlbnetworkleagu..._hz5M86fl-FbW4

re: MLB on FOX: 2016 OPENING DAY ROSTERS RELEASED
The minor league players equipment is pretty good I think some probably need to be updated A lot of players got pulled from last years roster. This goes for stances and pitch motions as well.
There have been tons and tons of stuff edited that go unmentioned, but the foundation has been set and some of these smaller things can be easily added in year to year just. keep building from this one is my plan.
I still think a full sweep of making better faces and updating appearances as players change from year to year (on the created guys) is somehting we could do next year.
A full sweep of equipment frm MLB to DOUBLE A at least.
This is why my focus this year is to try and at least get all the players who should actually be on the rosters on the roster no one missing and get all the date corrected, names, age, location, height and weight.
In MLB 17 they will be new added create A player features meaning we will half to go over every single player then to correct those new changes kinda like we did this year for location. My guess is there going to have brand new hair styles and some other cool create features to make these players ive have updated this year look even better.
So this is my vision on my rosters.

re: MLB on FOX: 2016 OPENING DAY ROSTERS RELEASED
I wanted to also take this time to say without the OSFM, the guys who do that every year Ridin, willard, WTNY and many other guys this process would be even longer.
I also want to thank BACON96 because he has most of the lower level SIngle A guys that most other rosters didnt have. This really help when I got to that area.
I still had to make a good 150 or more players from scratch from one reason or another that were just no where to be found on any of the other rosters out there.
Anyways, my point is I appreciate the time and effor the other rosters do each and every year making this process a tad easier for a project this size.
The difference in this roster and the others is the LIVE RATINGS, and every oganazation has exactly who they should have and there all in the correct area they should be as of OPENING DAY. I didn't leave a guy off in place of some younger rookie that was recently drafted, international prospects etc and keep off a player who is actually on the team. I aimed for full accuracy MLB-DOUBLE-A as we cant get single A as accuarate as those levels.
There is still a little work to be done for some players information that still needed to be added in and I still need to put in the free agents. I am not by any means saying these are complete, but very close.

re: MLB on FOX: 2016 OPENING DAY ROSTERS RELEASED
I was going to do that myself and we had started doing that me and my side kick and got to the BLUE JAYS if we had contine doing that we would not be where we are now with the rosters. Its a very tedious project jsut doing equipment and I much prefer using MLB.TV and give players exactly what they wore during the first couple of weeks of April or like the first month since these rosters are really built around how things were at OPENING DAY.
The chart those guys have isn ot every team and it was off of OSFM if somehting was already done they didnt add that to the sheet so it makes it hard to do the equipment because your not sure if somehting needs to be changed they didnt mention. Not trying to knock them because they do a great job just wish it was all documented regardless if something was already there.
All that is true. But it's the best we have unless we really did want to go thru every single player again. I totally get you don't want to do that. I would be burnt out to. I have no problem doing that myself because of what else you made on the roster. It's not perfect, but it's the best we have. Something is better than nothing.Check out my dynasty: Rise to the Top: The Coaching Career of Joshua Morgan (NCAA 14)Comment

If you need help with anything for next year, count me in. I think we share the same obsession for realism. I would be willing to do anything you need, man. Also, if you need any help for this year(which I doubt but if you do) then I am down.Last edited by Daonlyjmo7; 09-05-2016, 10:18 PM.Check out my dynasty: Rise to the Top: The Coaching Career of Joshua Morgan (NCAA 14)Comment

re: MLB on FOX: 2016 OPENING DAY ROSTERS RELEASED
Hey Houston,
Just wanted to say that I appreciate your huge effort on these rosters and I look forward to their release. I understand the compulsion to tweak further but as you say, this is a great base to build from in future years, not only for yourself but for those who want pitch edits and equipment etc.Comment

re: MLB on FOX: 2016 OPENING DAY ROSTERS RELEASED
@houston I was wondering how these rosters will play in multiple seasons, I play all my team games ans sim the other? also do we need 32 team control or can we do just 1 team? and when you tested the rosters how did the simmed season stats compre to real life?
again these look like they will be the best rosters out there keep up the good work and I can't wait to playMadden 18Kansas City ChiefsYr 1 (0-0) Pre-Season (0-1)

re: MLB on FOX: 2016 OPENING DAY ROSTERS RELEASED
hey @houston, do you think that you could possibly make a Tim Tebow CAP and put him in the FA cause it looks like the Atlanta Braves are going to take a shot ant him, he'll be in instructional league & fall ball & possibly winter ball, then he will be a non roster invitee next spring, so if you could do this I would be greatly appreciativeMadden 18Kansas City ChiefsYr 1 (0-0) Pre-Season (0-1)
