thanks for all the hard work, but I forgot does this roster have real minor league rosters like OSFM but just with the live ratings

Yes these have full minors, free agents maxed out and the minor leagues has exactly who suppose to be there at the time of opening day 2016. We do not keep off older veteran / career minor league players etc off to make room for other young prospects. All the names, ages, height & weights, locations and positions have all been updated.

This is the most thorough roster ever done in my opinion and not a rush job obviously. Next year it will not take as long to get this roster set out as we finally got everything into place now that we didn't have before.

All my players we have in the minors can be exported with all there information pretty much correct for 2017 just minor changes. I am hoping that SCEA can add all these new hair styles, mustaches, beards etc in MLB 17. I plan on taking the time next year to upgrade every single players facial features into this roster next year since we have everything else already in place.

Thanks for dropping in and hopefully I can answer everything pretty simple. I know exactly what your talking about with the hybrid ratings as I bought into that myself last couple of years. I even had my partner early in April rate all the real players originally using the 2015 Hybrid rating chart we had, but this is when we realized the huge difference how Nerf the ratings are compared to hybrid vs SCEA ratings. We set all the ratings back to SCEA ratings using the "LIVE SERIES" ratings this is when we seen a huge difference in the ratings and so glad we switched everything back. It was a small setback early on but we got thru it.

Now all 27 roster updates SCEA did this year every single player they added we have on our rosters with the same exact ratings, the batting stances, pitching motion SCEA gave to those players we have added. We even gave them the equipment SCEA gave.

And with the PITCH EDITS I decided to do my own version from what I had learned from seanjeezy in previous years. I used brooks to clarify the type of pitch it is but used SCEA break and control for every pitch I assigned, I even look up the player on older version of MLB THE SHOW to get control and break for players who were not on MLB 15 or 16. I did not give any pitchers the RFB although I use to enjoy using this pitch for players in the past, the reason I no longer use it is because when you do carry over franchises or export players from previous year all the RFB's get turned into 2 Seamers. I know there is several type of Changeups but decide to just give Circle Changeups, (CIRCLE CHANGEUPS are the most common change-up thrown) but there is a lot of pitchers that were given Vulcan Changeups who actually throw them, Forkballs, there some Splitters and Slurves etc. I google searches every single pitcher added to my pitch edit chart as well comparing there pitches. I chose to do things my way on my PITCH EDITS to keep things simplified.

Only players who do not have SCEA ratings are players who have not been called up. With my foundation these rosters there's a cycle as more players get called up next year then the next the more SCEA players ratings will be added. I would say already about 50-60% have SCEA ratings now.

This is literally exactly what I wanted. I wanted updated SCEA ratings, equipment edits, and full minors BUT INCLUDING the pitch edits/repertoire as the stock SCEA pitches just are sometimes way off. And I'm not trying to knock the hybrid guys, but I just feel the MLB the Show sim engine isn't meant to handle rerates like they do. Thanks so much again!

Hey Houston, I am another long time fan/follower of this roster. The one question I have been meaning to ask is how you rated the non SCEA rated prospects. That was literally the only problem that I could possibly think of when I downloaded the preview you released a while ago. I remember that Anderson Espinoza was a 75 rating even at the age of 18, which was a bit unrealistic. i was just wondering if A. That was his final rating and B. What was the formula used.

Either way, one little problem won't deter me from these rosters. Great work Houston and thank you so much. These will definitely be the rosters I will use for my carryover.

Cant wait for these man! Just like JMo gonna start a carryover with these to get me my baseball fix while waiting on 17.

Great job and thanks for all the hard work you put in on these. I know you're just as ready if not more so than us to play with these.

Also wanna give my condolences to you for the loss of your brother. It's great you got to have that connection with him through baseball games to make the short time you had with him that much more meaningful and special. I personally never had anyone that shared my extreme love of baseball to share my games with. So I may not know exactly how you feel, bur I understand how special that can be.

Anyway just wanted to voice my gratitude for the tremendous time and effort you put into these, and my CDO (OCD with the letters in alphabetical order as they should be lol) totally feels for you not wanting to release anything other than what you feel is completly finished.

So thanks for these again, also if you need any help on this or future versions please feel free to call on me for any help needed. I've sent you a friend request.

So this thread has been open since April 4th and still no roster is in the vault, not even a V1? Same thing happened last year and the roster was never even released..
