Re: Classic Teams - MLB 16

OK, sc73ray's all-time roster is back up in the vault for MLB 16 under PSN username BostonRob75 with my minor adjustments I mentioned a few posts back.

Pretty much all the jersey numbers are correct as I'm just adjusting a few as I use the teams. To change retired jersey numbers just drop the player in question down to A level, make sure no one else is wearing the number in question, give the player the number and put him back up on the MLB roster. Works every time. This set plays great!
Pitching, defense and 2 out RBIs win a lot of ball games!

Re: Classic Teams - MLB 16

I'm wanting to assemble some classics teams on one roster file. Is there not any way to create a team from scratch in The Show, give them a uniform, city, colours, etc so that one could have two or more Bostons or NYs or whatever? Maybe you make a second Boston and then sub them into a league? Or are we locked to only ever using the teams as they're distributed in the game?

      Thanks!

No tinpan, not that I know of. It'd be great though.

Really looking forward to your rosters for the Show 17. I love how your rosters play using J Tommy's rbu. I wish more Classic roster makers would use that unbelievable tool that he made.
You play fast! You play strong! You go out there and dominate the man you're playing against, and you make his *ss quit! That's our trademark! That's our M.O. as a team! That's what people know us as! - Nick Saban

Hey thanks for the positive feedback. It is a terrific tool, and I've been extremely happy with the results. I'll definitely be bringing my rosters over, but it'll probably be later than I expected. I haven't even bought MLB 17 yet as I'm still finishing up some playoffs and a 70s dream season that I started with 16 and I'm going to see them through first.

At this point, I'm thinking maybe end of July beginning of August, but that depends on the pace of life. Rest assured that I will get them over.

I asked this in the Classics thread but you might know the answer since you made these sets.
I want to be able to move some of your teams around so that they're on the same file. For example I want the Negro Leagues and 27 Yankees on the same file as the 55 Dodgers. So I figured exporting and importing would be the only way but I can't export legends. Any ideas on how to do this?

You have to pick a base roster that has the legends available that you need for your teams for your roster file. Or you can download a legend in question from the player vault

But you can only download a legend that you yourself have unlocked right? I don't have access to a Legend for download just because he's on your file, do I?

I mean a legend who was already created by someone else in the player's vault. Not a legend that comes in the game.

I see. So having a roster file that contains a Legend doesn't mean you OWN that legend. How can that player be useable then?

You choose your base roster file that has the legends available and export everyone that's not a legend. Then just grab the available legends from the list in your base roster set.

Example, let's say you export all the '75 Red Sox to your base set. Carlton Fisk is a legend so you can't move him, so just pick him up in your new base set from the legends list. Or you can create him yourself or download a Fisk CAP from the player vault.

Ok, sorry, I just wasn't understanding. I've never done anything but play with stock rosters or created players. So how Legends works eludes me.
So, I guess my question then is whether any any of your classics rosters has all Legends unlocked?
