If we have this calculator (and it's updated) I'm confident that we can pick up where they left off. They did great work, someone's gotta step up this year.

I'm in discussions with some people..the big thing for me personally, is the pitch edit stuff. WTNY has no interest in sharing his formula (understandably) so if that part can get figured out we may have something.

I've done pitch edits in the past, it's really not that hard just takes a lot of work. Once you understand how to read the Pitch FX data it's not bad.

So what needs to happen to get rosters out? I've got stat/database skills, so I can help out in automating ratings, if it helps out.

So I figured out why I can't get the darn thing to work...the link on the 1st page doesn't (at least for me) have any of the other tabs except the calculator which is why I can't input anything and it comes up as a read only file. Going through the thread thre is another one that but doesn't allow for 2016 stats

I believe The workbook is password protected so we can't edit it but it would be great to see what the ratings would look like with 2016 stats included.

I'll have the calc updated with 2016 stats by the time the game releases. BDDaniels will once again be helping input the ratings and anyone else is welcome to pitch in that wants to.

You're only seeing certain tabs because I've hidden all the data. Only reason I did that is it makes it cleaner and easier to work with. The calc has a ton of data and lots of Vlookup and some Index/Match. If you don't know a lot about excel, it's pretty easy to screw things up.

I was wondering I this would work with what I want to do in m game, what I am doing is I'm going to start a game with a historical roster and add the drafted rookies like they were drafted, so say I get to the 2007 draft and the rays take Price can I use this program to get his stats as a rookie or how would I do this

I'm trying to use this to input college stats and use it to guesstimate ratings. If A ball is 40% (right?) then ACC play is probably 30-35% in my eyes. Anyway, how do I input stats or is this not how it works? Thanks!

NCAA stats are very difficult to use in projections, because strength of schedule is all over the place, and because metal bat numbers don't translate well to wood bats. It's best to wait for some minor league numbers, or to base it heavily on scouting reports.

Thank you for your input, I never really thought about it that way as far as bats are concerned. The main dude I was trying to use was a pitcher and only use his ACC stats, but I digress. Anyway, I would still like to know how to do use this by inputting stats, even if my stats are skewed and not worth actually using in the case of college. I would still love to learn this tool because it seems like it is a super powerful tool that I should know how to use, but I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks
