Almost.

You would also need to make sure there are no more than 25 players on the 40-man roster. This roster is a 40-man roster. So you would have to take some players off at the end of spring training and then put them back on the 40-man roster after the regular season starts. If not, the cpu will shuffle the lineups even if you are using 30-team control set to manual lineups.

That may take a couple of hours to do.

I wouldn't mind doing this but the only thing I would have a problem with is knowing who to take off the 40-man roster and then who to put back.

I hate the CPU messing things up after you sim Spring Training, it almost cancels out all the hard work that was put in making all the lineups/rotations from MLB-AA accurate.

Is there a 25-man roster version of this roster?

This roster is being updated as far as i know so this may be the most current one. Go into the Roster down loads and you'll find it under the name of the thread title. I don't believe all FA are added to teams which is something you'll have to do on your own. As far as contracts and all that i'm not sure how that works since i only play RTTS mode.

If anything i've said is incorrect i'm sure the helpful folks of this site will come along to correct me.

As a side note, this is one of if not the best roster out there (not that i've downloaded the most recent). As far as RTTS is concerned i've found that making sure the better created prospects are moved to AA prior to starting helps keep them in the system. Otherwise after you get drafted some of those prospects or injured vets will be booted from the team.

Here's what I can tell you.. I spoke to both WTNY and Willard and both said they wouldn't be participating in it this year. They were the driving forces behind that roster. So it may be dead (I possibly could be trying to get something worked out)..having said that if the OSFM people use the calculator that is out there on this forum, they will have very similar results to the hybrid (I compared the hybrid to teams roster) minus the WTNY pitch edits of course

Thanks for the offer guys. But there are a whole bunch of things at play and Ramone/Russel just dropped a huge bomb with the re-vamped CAP system. The OSFM guys are saying a much later release .

I am not a CAP guy so 1st we would be working from that any ways. Then there is the whole ratings snafu because that was WTNY's baby.. I liked Team555's calculator but I can't get the damn thing to work so far..lol

It may be a situation where it gets plugged away at for the 18 version of the game..

I will try to keep people updated as I can

Yeah that was my thinking too. Well I have some feelers out about some stuff . It isn't dead just yet. So we will wait it out and see
