    Re: OSFM Draft Version
So the only guys from the day 1 of the draft not in this set is the following compensatory picksDane Dunning Wash, Will Smith La and the 2 guys stl took carlson and hudson, those teams have their 1st pick in the set...

I will CAP these players so everybody in the first round can be in the game. They will be done by Tuesday. Hudson is already in the vault as well.

Just uploaded to the vault this roster with real contract salaries.

Besides each player having their real life numbers to go along with the correct length, I also cleaned up the minor leagues a bit as well.

Big thanks to Ridin on a fantastic roster. Just wanted to give the community the option of having real salaries since this has been something people frequently ask about.

Is it possible to perhaps get Trey Griffey in somehow?

Also, and this is a pet peeve of mine with these sets. Why the low and inconsistent potentials? It comes down to trade value within franchise. It pains me to see top prospects irl traded for middle relievers and backup catchers. To make them consistent, I'd do it by tier, draft position for the rookies and ranking for all other prospects. For instance, for newly drafted players, top 5 = 95 pot, 6-15 = 92 pot, 16-30 = 88, and so on. It just ruins trade value when you guys low ball prospects on their potential.

My understanding was that this was based off of 3.5, which already had correct salaries.

Did I miss something? Could you expand more on what percentage of contracts were off in your estimation, or on how significantly the MILB contracts were adjusted?

And it would take you a couple of hours to fix this to your liking as opposed to adding a couple of hours onto the folks who have already spent hundreds of hours giving you something to use for free. A few kind words, biting your tongue, or phrasing it some other way wouldn't kill you, eh?

Well the draft doesn't quite work like that. Each player has different potential no matter where they are drafted. The 16 player drafted is a lot different than the 30th in both skills and potential. Plus, out of the 16-30 players drafted only a handful would be around 85 potential.

It it was based from 3.5 then how did he get all the draft picks added in so fast? 3.5 didn't have any draft picks so in order to do this he would have had to added his own draft pick CAPS or maybe he used Boomersooner's CAPS from his V3.5 because he posted quite a few way before the draft.

The OP in this thread says it's base on 3.5, hence my assumption that contracts were already properly rendered.

Gotcha! BTW, not all contracts were adjusted though in 3.5 version. Maybe that's what Mikelopedia was talking about. Maybe he did actually edit all MLB contracts to real life. Maybe even minor league players as well.

Ridin, I went through this version of your rosters since you released it and edited the contracts to real life contracts.

I edited 90% of the contracts (some the info isn't there).

This adds more realism as now you have to figure in the budgets according to real numbers (i.e.: the Yankees in game have small contracts, where's edited, their payroll increased by over 100M)

I made them for me, but if you want them to edit them going forward, that would be great.

                                Again, thanks for your rosters.
