Another Team that you can probably look at rebuilding on the fly more is the Tigers. What helps you out with them is they have 3 young Studs at SP. The First year at doing it though you can still make a run at a Title and World Series, but know that some retooling needs to be done after the season as a lot of guys are in their later 30's. You don't have to start completely over, but some decisions need to be made to how you will want to rebuild the Roster after the season is over. I know myself, I traded my SS, for a young SS from Texas named Gordon Boswell. Very Raw, but will develop into a good player. Right now I am in June. Injuries have hit me hard, as I lost my Starting catcher, and my Second Basemen. I am in Second place, with the Royals 2.5 games ahead of me. Will need to see how the next few weeks go to see if we are sellers or buyers? Just out of curiosity, do any of you know of a Left Fielder that is Athletic and has speed that I can look into possibly trading for? Once this season is over regardless, I will be looking to get much more Athletic, so we can take advantage of Comerica Parks spacious confines.

Re: justmunc Fictional 2017
Thanks for the suggestions on rebuild teams. May go for the Reds. I like the idea of a division with three really good teams and a poor farm system. Likely I will try to sign some role players and trade what I have and rebuild and try to be powerhouse in year 2-3.
One more team I have been playing around with what are thoughts on the Mariners? Loving these rosters!!!Comment

Re: justmunc Fictional 2017
If you are not looking for an absolute superstar in left field. Red Sox have a LF named Blaine Workman. Tall and rangey high 70s rated but with 81 fielding and 86 vision. Red Sox may give him up because already have Joel Joseph with high 70s rating. BTW has anyone seen a SP Knuckleballer. Would love to trade for one.Affiliated with the Oakland Athletic's FiresaleComment

Re: justmunc Fictional 2017
Thanks justmunc, he will be my first trade of the season. Brad McDonald just won the second game of the young season off his own bat as well as the first. Thought I would but I'm not missing Kenny Clevelen at all 😀Comment

Re: justmunc Fictional 2017
Brad McDonald is the truth. In my 7 year test sim, he had sick numbers all the way through. For some reason, BOS let him walk, though, which I found odd. I think I like him more than the CF.Comment

I'm having a blast in my new franchise with these rosters. I'm playing as the Phillies and just got my @#$ handed to me by Nationals starting pitcher, Maloney. He struck me out 17 times!! He is a beast (99 rating) and I had a really hard time picking up his breaking ball. Hoping for a quick recovery from this embarrassment.PSN: trex187

That whole Nationals pitching staff is incredible...you just have to hope for an off day by them.Affiliated with the Oakland Athletic's FiresaleComment

Re: justmunc Fictional 2017
I'm missing my Red Sox like crazy.
We are off to a flying start in my franchise and it's all about Brad McDonald. He's Batting No.4 and driving in plenty of runs. Cameron Merchant Batting No.3 crushed a 490 ft homer at Detroit and hit the baseball sign in the Right Field light tower with a really cool sound effect. I traded for the knuckleballer Bill Scott as you suggested and love pitching with him. Also traded for 3rd baseman Hector Lujan a long time Red Sox favourite of mine with a sweet batting stance that I really click with. He has already forced himself into the side batting over .400 and have shifted Brad McDonald to second base and he is incredible in the field there. More updates when I get back.Comment

Re: justmunc Fictional 2017
Playing as the reds and put myself and some of my friends as minor league prospects to keep it fresh. First two years we went 78-84 mostly because Derrick Clark put the team on his back. Last two years we've won 88 games but have missed out on the playoffs both years because the NL Central is a beast to compete in (besides the poor Brewers who going in year 5 only have one player above 80)
Year 5 lost Clark to a torn ACL in spring training. And his replacement is my best friend but he's no Clark, hitting .209 but has 13 HR's so far. Sitting at 22-17 and 3rd in the Central, bullpen is a major weakness so far.
PS: Jimmie Lamb can go ahead and leave the Cubs whenever he feels like

I think these rosters are a blast. Fun learning the teams over a coarse of a season.
