This is seriously so much fun.

Bacon you did such a great job with these.

Played opening day with the Indians and we held on for a 7-5 extra inning win after blowing a 3-0 lead heading into the 8th and then our closer blew it in the ninth.

Roger Dorn homered as well as Eric Rowe. Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn pitched 8 strong innings with 10K's. Willie Mays Hayes also added a double and SB.

What a blast learning and seeing all these brand new fictional players. It is like playing a brand new game.

Really look forward to checking in with some updates between the Indians and Dodgers (Kelly Leak is on the LAD and their lead off stud superstar).

Wonderful stuff here folks.

I'll be starting a franchise with my fictional roster this weekend.

I've chosen the Los Angeles Angels as my team.
I'll be simulating the first season but making moves as I feel. I'll play some games to start the second season and post (semi) regular updates on my 'Dynasty' page.

Bacon, great job on these! Armors contribution was the icing on the cake. I'm using v2.5 and rolling with your suggestion of simming the season and starting in 2018. Out of interest I simmed at Default and saw lots of trades and a Astros versus Mets World Series in which the Mets came out on top. After the sim the roster filled out nicely and ratings look in line with the incoming players. It's also playing really well with the morale system. I haven't decided on a team yet but the Brewers traded for Crash Davis and are still a bit of a powerhouse so they are really tempting me ATM.

So, basically are all players real except for a few? What did you do about stats/contracts? ie: How was this addressed?

ALL players are fictional. The roster does include every legend still listed as a free agent because I wasn't sure what everyone might want to do with it once I uploaded the finished project. Minor leaguers are mostly still generic. Stats and contracts are made up both using the 'CPU roster control' workaround in franchise.

Hope this is what you were asking.
