Re: #OSFM V2.0 and V2.5
Ridin,
I have a few corrections and suggestions for the Cubs roster:
These players are no longer on the team:
RP Gerardo Concepcion was cut on 05/12/2017
C Carlos Corporan was cut on 05/02/2017
RF Todd Glaesmann was cut on 05/06/2017
These players are currently playing below AA and not a top prospect (According to MLB top 30, Baseball Prospectus Top 10 and Baseball America Top 10):
SP Carson Sands is in A
C PJ Higgins is in Adv-A
1B Matt Rose is in Adv-A
3B Jesse Hodges is in Adv-A
These players are in AAA or AA:
RP Juan Carlos Paniagua is in AAA
LF Ryan Kalish is in AAA (Inactive)
INF Kevin Cornelius is in AA (Minor league rule-5 pick)
C Ian Rice is in AA
C Erick Castillo is in AA
The following pitchers are in AA
RHP Zach Hedges
RHP Preston Morrison
RHP Ryan McNeil
RHP Brad Markey
RHP David Garner
RHP Daury Torrez
RHP James Pugliese
RHP Steve Perakslis
RHP Justin Hancock
Just a few changes and suggested replacements. I know these are not that high of a priority with the loss of the OSFM 2.5 file, but maybe this info can be used when the post draft file comes out, plus the Cubs have 2 first round picks.
I hope this was helpful and not just nit picking. Please let me know either way and I can either continue to try and help or just keep to myself. I am aware I can make these changes myself, and I do whenever I start a franchise, just trying to be helpful to others.
P.S. I thought I was old at 30, you guys make me feel like a teenager again lol.
Thanks but u guys gotta remember that 2.4 file is a wip.... not even close to being done it was over 10 days old

Fully aware. I'm not actually even concerned with your 2.4 or 2.5 roster, I'm waiting on the post draft roster. I do a ton of research when I edit your roster for my franchise, I thought I would try and help out, I track 1 team all year, you track 30. Either way, thanks for your rosters, they are always amazing.Comment

Re: #OSFM V2.0 and V2.5
Somewhat unrelated to the new rosters, but for OSFM rosters in general, is there something wrong with RTTS and getting called up, or at least moved from AA to AAA? I started a pitcher for fun today and played an entire season with the difficulty on Veteran to get just have some fun. I made my guy a SP, and after starting 4 games (giving up only 1 run in the games combined) was pushed to the closer role, then eventually a MRP/LRP. I finished the entire season, led the league in strikeouts, ERA (gave up 4 ER in 99.2 IP), and WHIP, but never got a move up. After winning the AA Championship as well, I'm now at the start of my second season and still stuck in AA with "Above Expectations."
I read somewhere people saying how because there is only one closer on each team on the OSFM roster, that it could cause issues for pitchers in RTTS. Any way around this? Not sure I'm firing 101-102 MPH and striking out 180 in 99.2 innings and still not getting even a look in AAA.Comment

Re: #OSFM V2.0 and V2.5
I tried that on an earlier release. The only issue was that the CPU didn't add anyone to the 40 unless there is an injury. And who they added didn't seem to always make sense.

Re: #OSFM V2.0 and V2.5
But on a 40 man don't they tend to call up minor leaguers who aren't in the big leagues yet based on their overalls? Or doesn't spring training end with the rosters all messed up because the CPU calls up and sends down whoever they want? I could be wrong totally. If anyone can convince me otherwise I'd take it.Comment
