Hey ridin' quick question.........will there be a version following the results of the draft that includes mostly all of the top draft picks? And if so, how are you guys going to dictate how many drafted players get put into that new version of the rosters?

Really hope you get back to me because I know people would love to see their farm system get somewhat replenished. I know I do and thats something I'm kinda looking forward to if you end up doing that.

Thanks for the great work you do man really love that you put the time and effort into all of this.

Will do a draft version, usually the first round picks and any high profile guys who fall... limited roster space makes it hard to add to many players

Hey folks, thanks for all the hard work, as always.

What's the most up-to-date version of the rosters with correct contract info? I know 2.4 was back to the default.

2.5 doesn't work. Did scea fix it? 2.4 is the only one that is supposed to work.

Ridin, I just personally want to say thank you for all the hard work you've done with all the rosters you have uploaded and that goes to all those who contributed to your efforts.

I'm not nearly as picky as some guys with all the EXACT equipment stuff and all those fine details, I just like to use updated rosters with realistic prospects and as accurate of attributes/ratings as we can hope for. Can't believe how much complaining and extra requests I have read in this thread alone.

Thanks again for your hard work. I used your rosters last night to do a fantasy draft and I plan to start a regular franchise with them as well.

Dumb question, not important, but just curious. How do you determine the numbers of the rosters like why is this next update gonna be 2.5 and not just call it 3.0?

hey Ridin', where there any pitch edits done on MILB players, Sometimes baseball prospectus has pitch fx on milbers.I'm using your roster even though hybrid has pitch edits but the're from last year and pitches may have different tendencies this year.I'll go by http://www.fangraphs.com/ or http://www.brooksbaseball.net/ to get accurate pitches.I also have milb.tv.Thanks agina for your hard work.

Why you guys changed Gleyber primary position to 3B? SS is his primary he has 16 gms at short, 4 at 3B and 4 at 2B.

Ridin- Thank you for doing the roster update. I have a few question and would like to see if you will update if you agree.

Ronald Acuna from the Braves is doing really well this season. Batting Average: .336 with 5 hr and and 29 RBI. The success is at both the Single A and Double A. You guys had him at 58 overall with a low power rating. I think he should be a little higher maybe 61 or 62.

                              Ridin,

I have a few corrections and suggestions for the Cubs roster:

These players are no longer on the team:
RP Gerardo Concepcion was cut on 05/12/2017
C Carlos Corporan was cut on 05/02/2017
RF Todd Glaesmann was cut on 05/06/2017

These players are currently playing below AA and not a top prospect (According to MLB top 30, Baseball Prospectus Top 10 and Baseball America Top 10):
SP Carson Sands is in A
C PJ Higgins is in Adv-A
1B Matt Rose is in Adv-A
3B Jesse Hodges is in Adv-A

These players are in AAA or AA:
RP Juan Carlos Paniagua is in AAA
LF Ryan Kalish is in AAA (Inactive)
INF Kevin Cornelius is in AA (Minor league rule-5 pick)
C Ian Rice is in AA
C Erick Castillo is in AA
The following pitchers are in AA
                              RHP Zach Hedges
                              RHP Preston Morrison
                              RHP Ryan McNeil
                              RHP Brad Markey
                              RHP David Garner
                              RHP Daury Torrez
                              RHP James Pugliese
                              RHP Steve Perakslis
                              RHP Justin Hancock

Just a few changes and suggested replacements. I know these are not that high of a priority with the loss of the OSFM 2.5 file, but maybe this info can be used when the post draft file comes out, plus the Cubs have 2 first round picks.

I hope this was helpful and not just nit picking. Please let me know either way and I can either continue to try and help or just keep to myself. I am aware I can make these changes myself, and I do whenever I start a franchise, just trying to be helpful to others.

P.S. I thought I was old at 30, you guys make me feel like a teenager again lol.

After doing some testing with Gleyber OSFM updated ratings i saw that he develops as power hitter instead of the hitter he's expected to be by his scouting grades which are 65 (hit) 55 (power) high avg hitter with decent power similar to Lindor as a hitter.

I decreased his power and assigned those points to his contact and should look similar to this:
                                IMG_2364.JPG

With the ratings above he develops as a 80/90 contact 60/66 power
