I've uploaded a bunch of new player likeness updates to the player vault. This includes equipment and stance/motion. You can import them over their generic version in your roster.

I can do that but I don't know when I'll get them out. I do have a Reininger created and I think we're only missing Ramirez from TOR and maybe Andres Machado.

So far, looks like only Carlos Ramirez (TOR) and Andres Machado (KC)...if you could put these in the vault, that would be amazing!!

Just an FYI that I made an updated Wilmer Font a couple of weeks ago right after we had uploaded the full roster. Teeds is responsible for the vast majority of minor league player likenesses (faces/equipment/stances/motions) in our rosters as per usual, whereas my usual niche is providing ratings/data/information/testing to fill the "visual shells" out. However, I made maybe a dozen guys (+/- 5) for this roster and Wilmer was one of them because (1) I took issue with the face work from wherever he originally came from and (2) he's been something of a curiosity for me this year with how he's destroyed his competition in AAA except for 3 or 4 starts. You can check post 1 of this thread for my PSN if you want to grab the better Wilmer Font for your roster--he was uploaded a couple weeks ago.

That would be me. I'm not good with faces at all and tried to work on him myself back in December. I figured once I sent the file off someone would rework his face, but he probably got lost in the shuffle. You did a great job with your version so I'll add him to my own set so he can be used for next year as well.

I'm curious how they will play with 1 team control? Will the CPU toss a bunch of prospects up to the Biggs right away and send some of the 60 ovr vets to the minors?

I know 30 team yada yada and I've tried but arrrg my OCD prefers 1 team and to let the league evolve.


I did sim 1 season using these and while I didn't see anything to crazy I'm curious to see if anyone else has.

Still cracks me up how the ratings difference in the players attributes etc make the game play. Seeing the things that make you feel like you are playing Baseball. The hits, the variety as stated a few times already. These don't happen with default rosters and even slider adjustments. Man, I'm having a blast.

Do you guys have anyone you just rake with? For me it was Granderson, but since he is gone from the Mets I picked it up right where he left off with Smith. The rookie just raking for me. Maybe it's just a lefty thing? I dunno. But he is hot right now. Good stuff.

I set up my Mets franchise with 30 team control, but then turned everything to auto on another profile for the CPU. I just went through the lineups and didn't see anything that stood out to me where I would say WTF. I also wasn't looking to deep either.

I set it up with all the teams current moves roster wise, trades, claims etc since 8/17. Activated guys from Single A that were hurt to the 40 man etc. Left guys that were out for the season there though (Minus some Mets I wanted to use).

I then skipped spring training and let the CPU do their thing roster wise. Again, nothing stood out as annoying, but like I said I didn't dig too deep.

No trades will be taking place in year 1 obviously.

Ian Happ (CHC) --> 87 SPD, 58 REACT, 59 FLD, 64 ARM STR, 58 ARM ACC

Bradley Zimmer (CLE) --> 90 POT, 97 SPD, 64 REACT, 73 FLD, 93 ARM STR, 67 ARM ACC

Zack Granite (MIN) --> Push hitter, 75 POT, 50 CLUTCH, 90 SPD, 86 REACT, 59 FLD, 57 ARM STR, 55 ARM ACC

These were a couple of newer guys that came to my attention (or have been brought to my attention) as I was starting my franchise. Just to be clear, I am not taking requests for ratings (could you look at this guy or that guy?? type of stuff..if you disagree with a rating, just change it to what you think is fair). One time thing and I just wanted to share these minor changes with you all.

Yeah, who really knows where it came from originally? We didn't base this year's roster on this year's OSFM. So he likely came from the Hybrid roster last year, which was based on OSFM last year, which was based on our Realism roster from 2015, which was....haha. Interesting how these things can work.

Played with these! Made my own changes, but I will tell you what, this roster is great!! What variety!! Just started my official franchise with the Pirates!! Opened up at Boston! Lost 8-5 but it was great. Went up 2-0 in my half of the first on a McCutchen 2 run bomb! Boston came back and tied me on 4 straight singles.. Grrr... then proceeded to put up 3 in the second! Down 5-2 after 2! Some scoreless innings. Top of 7th, cutch, launched another 2 run shot! I was stoked. Tied at 5 after 7. Boston scored 3 more in bottom 8th for 8-5. They only had 2 extra base hits and pounded out 16 hits!!! It was a great time! Going to play game 2 of the set here tonight!!

I also wanted to point out the im playing on Default Hall of Fame for everything. Batting, fielding, and pitching!! Great challenge!!!

The changes I made were I went through the roster and put the top 40 rated players on the 40 man roster. If the lower rated ones were in MLB, I left them alone. Just filled it with the top 40 minor leaguers. And then trimmed down the extras back to 40 man. For me it works. Will be super fun. I'm a player who lets the league evolve on its own only controlling my team!
