Re: OSFM 2018 “Opening Day Version” Available Now
Has anyone done sim stats with V1.5? Just curious to how accurate the SCEA ratings are.

Re: OSFM 2018 “Opening Day Version” Available Now
Waited til OSFM was done. Bought the game yesterday. Can't get online. PSN working fine. Home wifi working fine. Took the game back to GameStop and got another copy. Reinstalled it.
Still no vault access. No daily lineups. No challenge of the week. No OSFM!
SDS servers obviously suck. Interesting enough I loaded '17 and it worked fine.
Surprised I'm not seeing more complaining about this...

First off, Ridin and everyone else affiliated with putting these rosters together "I salute you". Now I have a question. I believe I asked Knight this a few years ago but don't recall the answer. Is there a formula used to create the players? I always try to put the minor leaguers to their correct level, AAA, AA, A ball, what I've noticed for years is these examples: Looking at the Orioles third baseman. Drew Dosch is on the real AAA team, Rated a 54, A. Felix on the real AA team, Rated a 49. Either they defaulted from your roster to A Ball, or I already Auto-filled at some point putting them on A Ball level before I looked at the official Orioles rosters to begin my yearly "project" Mountcastle hasn't made it passed AA ball, only aged 21 is rated a 65, Jomar Reyes is in Real A ball, Rated a 60. Why are the younger guys rated higher than players who have played a few years? I've noticed this every year. Noticed this for every team. Very hard to put guys where they actually belong in the organizations cause the Ratings are so biased for the younger players. Again, do you guys use a formula to create? Or are AAA and AA players that will probably just languish in the minors purposely made with lower ratings?
If you can try to answer this Ridin or any other roster maker answer this that would be great. Appreciate it all and this is NOT a knock on anything. Thanks a lot.Comment

I was wondering if anyone knows the lowest overall team in the game? Including the real minor league players. So worst team at the major league level and hopefully worst farm system. Hoping to do a realistic rebuild of the worst team possible. Hard difficulty and terrible players all around. Thanks for any help!

Like Knight used to say all the time you can’t judge by overalls, some guys may be really god defensively or have speed or a good arm and can’t hit but their overall will be higher because of a few metrics within the rating system, everyone is rated on stats, past and predicted as well as scouting reports... Mountcastle is a much bigger prospect than most of those other guys and has a larger skill set.

Re: OSFM 2018 “Opening Day Version” Available Now
RidinDwnKingsley, I've been busy with work and haven't been able to read through the thread or look through the vault. Have you or do you plan on releasing a 40 man roster of your latest version 1.5 or do you see another version past 1.5 coming out we should wait for? Thanks for all you do.
He said on his stream last night that 1.5 will be the last one for a little while.
As for 40 man, I don't know if they will release one in the future, but others have taken v 1.5 and made a 40 man from it. Those should be in the vault.Comment

I would say worst overall team is Probably KC. One of if not the lowest ranking farm system across most sites, and one of the worst teams
