I wrapped up the 40-man portion last night. No other changed made other than I went with one CP per team and moved the others to RP. Reasoning - I have always had success in the past doing it that way.

I can upload that to the vault tonight if you are cool with the CP changes.

Just finishing up my World Series in '17 and waiting to put in '18 for the first time...I know you said Lowe's sliders with these...I've always used Armor's..I assume both work great with this roster set?

Thank you for the work, never knew how important the 40 man was until this past season where I began seeing guys that had no right being in the majors on other teams. looking forward to my Mets franchise...just have to figure out what to do with that p.o.s Harvey

Honestly, you can't go wrong with Lowe's or Armor's. It really just depends on if you like classic/directional or meter/zone interface.

Lowe's YouTube stream really got me to take a stronger look @ his set, and now I am hooked. Armor's are great too.

Mr_tercero why do you not go with the real money and cut it in half? If you go with actual contracts it doesn't affect the franchise as long as every player has their real contracts because the luxury tax actually goes up not stay the same as it is for default contracts if that makes any sense

Just wondering why you change the pitcher staminas? Does this make it more realistic? Also, does anyone use Pure Analog when the play?

A lot of it is hearing other people suggest that doing real contracts can have adverse side effects on your franchise mode. I only bought a PS4 last year (specifically because The Show wasn't on Xbox), so I don't have tons of experience and history with having issues myself. But there seemed to be enough people suggesting that there were issues to prompt me to consider a solution. I wanted to play it safe and my idea for scaled contracts seemed like kind of a perfect compromise. I used them for all my franchises in last year's game and had no issues and thoroughly enjoyed them.

I also feel like it makes some sense that real contracts might have subtle issues in the game. If everything is built within the game to have a certain overall dollar amount throughout the league, then it wouldn't be surprising that doubling the total money in salaries might result in issues. Whether it's morale not lining up with the real contracts, or free agent offers not lining up with the real contracts, or any other small thing that I haven't thought of but could affect how things work years into the franchise. I just don't want to take a chance, and scaled contracts gives me what I want with real contracts, the proper ratios between everyone's real life contracts.

Just wondering why you change the pitcher staminas? Does this make it more realistic? Also, does anyone use Pure Analog when the play?

I don't change them all, but you'll see some SP with staminas in the 30's and some RP staminas in the 80's.

Those are the ones I change.

Next up, are editing positions so each team has equal depth chart position distribution.

What do you mean by, "all over the place"?

The one thing I don't want to mess with are player ratings.
They're are 1 or 2 sets (hybrids) that have/are doing that.
A project like that is way over my head, because I just want to start my franchise.

What I mean is that the players in the lower levels are not on the right teams. There are several players I saw in a brief review of rosters that were in the wrong levels. Also, while I don’t want to mess around with attributes either, I do want to make sure the Top 50 monikers are with the appropriate players if possible. An 18 year old Estevan Florial should not be in AAA. Same with Brendan McKay with TB, though not 18.
