    1. Boost attributes of player you want to have Top 50 icon and make sure he's not on an MLB team and on a AAA or AA team or A.
    2. Begin test Franchise and start the season. That player should now have the Top 50 icon because his attributes are so high.
    3. Export player.
    4. Import player back over that player in OSFM roster. He should now have the Top 50 icon.
    5. Revert attributes back to normal.

The same can be done for any players that have a Top 50 icon, but actually shouldn't. Just decrease their attributes and follow the steps and it goes away so you import over. again

That way the actual 50 players will display with a Top 50 icon. It will display in Roster Control and Exhibition games.

But unfortunately once you want to begin an actual franchise, the Top 50 does goes away and the game decides who based on attributes. But I think it's still worth it. This has worked the last 2 years. Have not tried yet this year.

Anyone have an injury free -40 man roster that is up to date based off these? If so, and it is quite possible it has been mentioned in the previous 259 pages, can you let us know what it is to look for to download?

Thank you to all who work on these and all other rosters for us to use.

Re: OSFM 2018 “Opening Day Version” Available Now

To date, I have finished the NL East and the Chicago Cubs.

        What I'm doing..

        - Re-rating every minor leaguer in the game based on 2018 production.
        - Editing potentials based on production/age/draft slots
        - Creating every teams Top 30 prospects based on MLB.com

        Example.

Austin Dean is a 58 OV at 24 years old in Ridin's OSFM draft roster. These roster don't take into consideration that a 4th round pick from 2012 has developed in the minors, and will be ready to compete for a starting OF position in 2019.

Dean is batting .342 in 71 games for the Miami Marlins AA/AAA, after batting .291 last season at 23 years old.

I have adjusted his overall from a 58 to a 69, and made his potential a B, as he has obviously become a great contact hitter. And should develop into a potential starting OF now in 2019. At the current rating he had, and potential, he would have never had a chance in the game.

        Back to creating prospects...

There's no more creation slots left, so what I have been doing is changing guys who are basically career minor leaguers (over 25 y/o) and editing them into the teams missing prospects from the OSFM draft roster version.

Also, I added the 2nd and 3rd round picks from the 2018 draft to the roster, so it's basically each teams Top 33 prospects, or in some cases, 34-35 based on additional 2nd and 3rd round picks.

The relief pitchers got the most love in the minor leagues, because there were are a lot of guys who were 24/25 and on the cusp of becoming full-time MLB relief pitchers, but rated in the 50's. Which would have done nothing more than made them an after thought.

Sorry if this was disorganized and long winded.

If you want to check it out so far, just download "Bushido Roster". Would love feedback.

        P.S.

There's one unrealistic aspect in this roster. I stashed Mark Appel and Michael Ynoa on the Nationals for now. I plan on doing a comeback story, for my own amusement, of two pitchers who were considered can't miss prospects at one point, and attempting to get their careers back on the track. I just needed somewhere to put them for the time being.

It's a tedious process, but it will arguably be the most in depth minor league/prospect roster out there when it's done. The Brewers alone took two hours tonight. They have a lot of quality OF prospects now, after creating a couple international signings, editing current players, and this years two 2nd rounders.

I finished up the NL Central tonight.

It's pretty cool going through player by player in the organization. Quite a few international prospects have been adjusted, and I've only done two divisions in the NL.

Are you doing faces? I've done the exact same thing to OSFM Hybrid roster. I have teams Top 30 prospects + more. I basically made anyone on a teams top 30 and put them on Double-A roster. Had a blast playing those games. I'm away for week. But when I get back plan was to to ratings adjustments.

If you have MLB 17. Download OSFM 5-9 AND OSFM Realism roster. They have alot of created prospects that you can port over into 18. I did that and got around 100 players ported into a roster.

I also did a comeback story with Ashe Russell from the Royals who stepped away from game at 20 due to mental issues. Want to male him a future Cy Young Pitcher

We will simultaneously release a 2017 version of updated OSFM rosters with our 2018 so that everyone who plays online franchise can still enjoy that this year with the 17 version.....as long as the demand for this is there this will be the plan

The National League is completely done.

I'm working on the American League now.

It takes 2 hours (sometimes a little bit more) for each team.

It's a long process, but the NL looks so much better now with every team's minor league system completely revamped, missing prospects from each clubs Top 30, and creating 2nd and 3rd round picks from the 2018 draft.

Just off the top of my head, the Rockies had two prospects (Roberto Ramos, Chad Spanberger) who are 23 and 22 years in age. Both were rated 54 overall with a low C potential.

Ramos is hitting .304 with 23 HR and 53 RBI in AA ball, and Spanberger is hitting .308 with 21 HR and 63 RBI in A ball.

I bumped Ramos up to a 65 and Spanberger up to a 63/64, increased their power ratings, and bumped up their potentials to a high C. Now they give the Rockies some quality depth, and more power bats in their organization.

I'm taking my time with this, because I want it to be as accurate as possible for when I start my Franchise and RTTS career. I'm not rushing through this, so it will probably be another 7-10 days until it's complete.

I'M NOT EDITING CONTRACTS, OR GOING AROUND PLAYER VAULTS LOOKING FOR 100% PERFECT MATCHING FACES. That's toooooo much work for one person, and I want to start my games just as much as the next guy.

When I start a franchise with CPU control on and select my 1 team to control I keep getting offered 12 trades per day even though every other team besides mine is set to auto. This has never been an issue in the past and is really slowing everything down when I have to decline 10 trades per day. Is there any way around this ?

Not to mention I have turned CPU trading off at the start of my franchise.
