We adjusted Sony’s ratings where they increased but also minor leaguers and used the same ratings scale to adjust some guys that Sony has overlooked. In the past we have not touched Sony’s ratings and if anyone wants that roster with out of the box ratings there are a ton out there but this year with the shall we say less than max effort Sony has put into the rosters and the updates we have adjusted where needed using the same formula we have always used, also missing pitches where needed where added to 2.2 and 2.5. The fixes with equipment, new faces and ratings adjustments in 2.2 and 2.5 make it a very good roster.
The original plan was to take one of the last Sony updates and create a whole new base roster with sony ratings but because the roster updates have pretty much been terrible, missing players, incorrect stats, incorrect service time, generic faces and so on that plan has been scrapped for now as it will take hundreds of hours to start fresh and create everyone needed. I personally don’t see a real reason to do it . Not here to bang on Sony as that’s not my thing or has ever been but they need to step it up in the roster part of the game as this has been the worst and sloppiest I have ever seen since I have been doing this.
