Can you possibly elaborate on, "rather soon." I hesitate to even ask, certain roster creators hate that question tremendously.

Ok so in the past I honestly never payed attention or gave it much thought...but I read somewhere that the cpu never alters the lineups or does call ups mid season. Is there any truth to that? Is that why so many people prefer to use 30 team control?

I’m not sure exactly how to get the lineups to stick at the start of the season, but I know most people do 30-team control to make sure that they can control call ups/send downs and trades around the league.

I use 30 team control, but i use a profile called CPU with everything set to Auto in mode specific for that profile and give that profile to the teams I'm not playing, and doing that the CPU does callups and lineups etc unless I take the AUTO off, doing it this way I can play as i want and still have control of needee or if I like to pretend that as a manager i quit and took a job as a manager with a different team.

Playing only 1 team normaly with 1 team control seem to work just fine too for me with CPU doing callups and doing lineups.

I wish there was a way that I could start the regular season with the 40-man rosters and not have them automatically be altered at the start of the season. I downloaded the 40-man someone on here made, and as soon as I go to the start of the season, even the one team that I control has incorrect lineups because people were sent down. Any way to make each team have their 40-mans filled out without my own team getting all messed around?

Correct me if I'm wrong here, and my apologies if it's already been discussed but it seems the most glaring issue for me with these rosters is that prospects that were imported do not have an additional year added to their age. Is this correct? Given, I only checked a few Cubs prospects but both were a year younger than they should be.

The only fool proof way is to have 30 team control with 25 man rosters. Then start the franchise and then manually construct the 40 man for each team

This is one of the on-going issues that presents itself every year in The Show. I have no clue why it's not addressed. However, the worst part of the roster is the fact that the postseason rosters can easily get jacked up unless they're managed perfectly. I can't remember how or the exact details but I know that there's major problems with them. I always have to research it when I get close to the playoffs and make sure if fix it.

Well I always had him referred to as a rookie

Secondary it’s actully does effect franchise the Braves now get a extra year before free agency for him because his service time is at 0000 it changes the entire completion for the Braves the economy for franchise too.

Actually, the service time won't impact much at all. He came into the season with .159 service time, meaning he'll be super 2 arb eligible in 2021 and a Free Agent in 2025. With zero service time, he will be arb eligible in 2022 and still a FA in 2025. Unless, of course, you want to send him down to the minors at some point for a couple of weeks.

So, the only impact would be one less season of Arbitration, as he won't have super 2 status. That said, the game doesn't do Super 2 correct anyway, so it's a moot point.

Well guys, Acuña is close on an 8 year/$100mm contract extension, so his service time will really be more of a cosmetic issue at this point.

In past years you could start with your 40 man and sim to the last day in Spring Training then trim all of the rosters down manually to 25 and the lineups and rotations would stay in tact. I would have to assume it works this year too.
