Quick question...
Is Luis Torrens, Padres catcher, in the roster?
I can't seem to find a CAP of him anywhere, not even from last year's roster. He's on the Pads 40-man roster too.

I just added him to my V5 yesterday but I also put the CAP in the player vault.

Fellas, any thoughts on what will be the major differences between this excellent community project and the upcoming OSFM?

Thinking of just rolling with this to start a chise, i know OSFM may be more detailed but this seems like its a fine roster too with few drawbacks?

Im guessing OSFM will have some rerates of players. We didn’t do any rerates.

OSFM will have full 90 man. My V5 roster has full 90 man for some teams but some teams are still sitting at 88-89. I would guess I’m still missing 40 players. Out of 2700 that’s pretty good and I think those 40 are all scrubs at this point.

OSFM will have 40 man with lineups and rotations. My V5 doesn’t yet but I’m sure someone will do them.

OSFM will have SCEA Kyle higashioka(still no idea how to spell it) and Buck Farmer. My V5 has CAPS for those 2 as I accidentally overwrote them and is was too far in to start again when I noticed.

This roster came about when we all thought OSFM wasn’t coming out till July. It was meant for the people like myself who aren’t necessarily sticklers for complete accuracy and don’t want to wait to start a franchise. I’m proud of this roster and that we got it together in such a timely fashion but there really isn’t a comparison. OSFM is the king of rosters and it will be again once it releases.

On s side note I finally found time to start a franchise last night and played 3 games. I’m really loving this game!!!!

Hey cuju I’ve uploaded the Steven Wright export with name change and age ect to the vault just needs face done if you like to have a go at that won’t have 2018 stars though will have the be summed for correct service time

I started mine with V5 last night and its great. The show allows you to edit on the go in franchise so you can always create a player or mess with ratings after you start if need be. I was going to try and edit Alonso’s face a bit for example but the main work is already done for you. My plan is to rock a 162 game season this year to carry over to next so I would have to get started soon and don’t want to wait a month or so.

Because I didn’t set the 25 man for V5 rosters I start in spring training and sim to regular season. That way the CPU will set its lineups with its best players.

If you do 30 team control and set all cpu teams to auto you can just quickly check the cpu teams for any glaring issues. I’m not a stickler for exact lineups so I just let the cpu do its thing

I was playing RTTS with the newest rosters and noticed that on the Tennessee Smokies (AA Cubs), Nelson Velazquez is announced as Oscar Mercado. In real life, Velazquez is in Single A and Mercado is on the Columbus Clippers (AAA Indians).

Not sure if there are other players out there, but I noticed it in my first RTTS game and figured I would mention it.

I figured this might get more attention if I post this here instead of making a new thread, but I have a question.


If I turn on manual injuries in my game settings, can players still get injured in game? The only settings are on, off, and manual. It doesn't say if having manual on turns off random injuries or not.

If you have it on Manual you will not have random injuries you would have to set injuries yourself thats why its called manual.
