Hey y'all just because I've turned into a stat nerd over the last decade I do a ton of research on projections and prospects.

I actually have a spreadsheet that aggregates all major projection systems that I used to use for gambling purposes. I'd be happy to share that with you guys for re-rates. It includes prospects that are expected to make their debut this year.

The systems I use are:
ZiPS
Podhorzer
PECOTA
FanGraphs Depth Charts
Steamer
Clay Davenport
The BAT
ATC
SportsLine
Baseball Ref
RotoWire
Fantasy Alarm
ESPN

I also have a similar spreadsheet that aggregates major prospect sites. I can share that too. Over the next couple of days I am going to add scouting grades that aggregate current value and future value based on the 20-80 scale. Once I finish that I'd be happy to work with whomever on a re-rate document for the Show.

The rankings I use are:
Baseball America
Fangraphs
Keith Law
MLB Pipeline
Baseball Prospectus
ProspectsLive
Prospects 1500
Prospects 365
Pitcher List

As far as scouting grades I am only going to use BA, FG, MLB and BP because they use the 20-80.

not to be a pain but how is the roster coming along? any updates?

The game isn't out yet so no one knows. I will probably be getting the game this afternoon. If I do I will try and post all of the missing players by tomorrow. That way ninerttaveler and the other guys can get started on creating for the guys who are missing. After that it will probably be a few weeks is my guess

This is great man. I suggest all the guys that do re-rates get together and start a United front to give us the best concenses on what the 2019 ratings will be considering that most of the ratings will be based on 2018. I think all the re-rate guys should start coming up with a plan now

Completely agree. I'd also suggest getting MBMavs on board because his pitch edits make the game so much more fun.

yeah obviously game isn’t out so I don’t know what a mess the Sony roster will look like.

Once it’s out and I start the op thread I’ll take note of percentage of team thate done what vets are missing from them, what prospects need to be created ect.

Looks like we got a good team for the ratings and pitch edits coming along too. So try and decide on a system ASAP

EVERY year you guys as a community astound me.

The amount of people joining forces to put out a roster each year is so impressive!!

I finished the blue jays and Matt Dermody didn’t transfer. He’s been removed. Doing Orioles now

Here's a link to a google doc that combines all of the major projection systems into one projection line for players. Anyone wanting to use it, just make a copy for yourself. I took out all the calculations and other sheets because it's large and unneccessary for this project. If there are players that you feel are missing hit me up and I'll add them.

If anyone wants to work together on a rating system, I'm down, but we'll have to wait for the game to drop. I do this every year and it'll take some time to sim some seasons to see how the ratings for pitchers and hitters correlate statistically.

It seems like the Os get shafted every year don’t know why but last year they got dudded too with 3 players missing in 25 man
Who should have been in the game!

This makes sense though he didn’t play last year
