Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 19
So glad you're keeping that sheet updated, 15 games in and not wanting to restart lol.
Played a absolute classic last night. Giants vs Padres. Giants got out to a 2 run lead in the second. Padres come back in the bottom of the second to tie it up. Giants jump to a 3-2 lead in the 3rd. Padres come back in the next 2 innings to lead 5-3 with back to back jacks. Pitchers duel in the middle innings with the Giants adding a additional run to bring the lead to only 1 run. Yates comes in in the 9th and gets 2 quick outs on 2 pitches. Brandon Crawford homers to tie it up before Yates retires the last batter. Pitch hitter in the 9th quickly grounds out. Tatis singles to left. Reyes, who already had 2 home runs that night, doubles to deep center to win the game. Hands down some of the best baseball I have ever played!TrueSim Project- ContributorComment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 19
Relesed the promised update. It is TrueSim Franchise Roster v2 in the vault.
Included in this update are the pitch edits from a few pages ago, as well as some bug fixes you guys pointed out, like Giovany Gallegos's pitch repetoire being blank in-game.
The major changes in this update are potential revisions to several position players around the league. 210 players received updates (about half the league). While pitchers progressed as expected with good variance, it was noticed that many position players needed fine-tuning. Too often, players would get on hot streaks and the game would recognize that, since potentials were so high, as a need to quickly give players large attribute boosts. In order to fix this, potential caps were given for players between the ages of 25 and 35, based on OVR.
The caps are as follows:
OVR Range-Potential Cap
95+ = 99
90-94 = 90
<90 = 85
-Players over the age of 35 had their potentials bumped up to 99, in order to balance out regression.
-Players under 25 (with MLB service time) were given potential minimums of 85.
These changes allow attributes to still progress (and regress) when warranted, but in a more balanced, steady way. Thanks for everyone's feedback and questions regarding the potential system used this year.
Additionally, some secondary position received updates.
All of the changes are included in the spreadsheet on the first page.Last edited by Cycloniac; 07-01-2019, 05:04 PM.Comment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 19
Appreciate the set bro, I restarted since I wasnt that many games in with your first set. Added Shohei in rf, set everything up to spring training and we set. I'll be doing this one in a blog. So it will definitely be my pace and blogs from here on out. Thx again.I stream a variety of video games for relaxation and fun.
