This is the first time I've discovered this thread. Amazing work! I have a couple of questions. Regarding transactions, what is the most recent update? Also, is this an accurate 40 man roster injury free?

40 man is accurate, no it isn't injury freeComment

Oh, and your slider set. I'm used to using Armor's but definitely willing to give yours a try. Would you say that your roster is meant to only use your set to get realistic stats?Last edited by stormchaserck19; 07-08-2019, 02:11 PM.Currently Playing

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 19
-If they played this year but got hurt, they are on the 40 man and in AAA
-If they are out for the year (e.g. Andujar), or were injured prior to the season and expected to play some time this season, they are not on the 40 man and are in single-A.Comment

Also, what types of gameplay settings do you use? For example, auto fielding? camera angle? strike zone pitch ball marker on off?Last edited by stormchaserck19; 07-08-2019, 03:23 PM.Currently Playing

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 19
Thanks for that explanation. That makes perfect sense. I'll give these a try with your sliders. The sim stats look really good. Do you know how progression ends up looking 5-7 years down the line? Are there less elite level players than the SDS ratings?

Thoughts on guys like Lucas Giolito, Matt Boyd, Brandon Woodruff, Shane Bieber K/9 being in the 80’s?
All are in the top 15 in MLB for Ks.
I feel like 80+ K/9 is where all strikeout pitchers should be?

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 19
Not sure if someone messed with it, or simply a glitch, but the Google Sheet is currently displaying pitch speeds in descending order by team name. All Arizona pitchers are listed at 99 mph, Orioles 97 mph, Cubs 95 mph, etc...Comment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 19
Hey man, you may not do things like this, but do you have a range for what K/9 gets what rating?
For example...
14.0+ K/9 - 99 rating
13.0 - 13.9 K/9 - 98 rating
12.0 - 12.9 K/9 - 97 rating
Something like that?Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

The formula for the k/9 rating is simply:
k/9*8Comment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 19
Can I get ratings for a couple more guys...
Alex Young (DBacks)
Logan Allen (Padres)
Austin Nola (M's)
Zac Gallen (Marlins)
Thanks!Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 19
A couple of suggestions for sliders in the playoffs:
-Manager hook at 10 (6 for simmed games)
Great seeing managers play matchups like they usually do in the postseason, yanking starters early if necessary. Down 1-2 in the ALDS against the Twins, who had a great year. Lost a tough game three on the road. Minnesota had the bases loaded, brought in Chapman to get 5 outs. Squeeze bunt, runner scored and they took the lead. They've been using Blake Parker to close during the series and letting Ryne Harper, their regular closer, pitch in matchup/high leverage situations. Parker came in, struck out the side and sent us out of there.Comment
