If I use Armor and Swords slider set with these rosters will it throw off the balance of your rating system?

I've heard other indicate that using those sliders with these rosters didn't yield the best results

Rosters look great, notice some guys have an A potential who I think barely deserve a B. Wondering how these rosters look down the road and how you assigned potentials. Also trout only at a 97 is confusing too, otherwise looks good.

Anyone been playing these on all-star? Had to go down a level because I wasn’t hitting worth anything through 20 games.

I have not looked at these rosters at all yet, but one thing I know, do not get wrapped up in overall. Overall is a weighted approximation that was written by someone that assigned the weights based on what they think makes that position good.

And I would be curious who you have problems with for prospects. Do you have examples?

              Luke Jackson (ATL)
              Tanner Roark (cin)
              Merril Kelly (ari)
              Pedro Baez (lad)
              Derek Holland (sf)
              Nate karns (bal)
              Jace peterson (bal)
              Dan straily (bal)
All of these players have A potential?
There’s others that are questionable too I was just wondering if this was by design or was over looked.

From the list (not to hijack from Cycloniac) I think some of the older players are given a high potential to keep them from tanking late in their careers. It's to help counter the effects of the really bad regression in the is game. Not sure if that's all of those but many of them seem to be that way. Again, not an expert, but I do remember this being a thing.

Yes, this was intentional, Bunselpower beat me to it

See pages 13-15, 54 and 58 for prior discussion on the potential system

In short, potentials are often higher for older players like this to slow the heavy regression. I looked at player aging curves to assist in the process and made fixes to it in v2 for hitters.

A few minor tweaks to the sliders:
-OF arm strength from 8 to 10
-Steal freqency from 6 to 7
-Steal success from 8 to 7

Haha. That just came out of nowhere? I'm a big CPU vs CPU guy. I wonder if injuries exist in those games that are played out on the screen and not simulated?

I've seen pitchers get hit more than once this year without injuries, but this time, Stanton lined a shot that totally smashed Tyler Anderson in the side of the head.

He ended up on the 10-day IL with a head contusion

I play in manage mode, so I would assume they are (back) in CPUvCPU also.
