I have a college baseball roster dropping tonight, if you are into college baseball. I much prefer it to the MLB any day.

Lets clear some things up here.

Ridin consulted them on the rosters, but at the end of the day the players in the launch roster, ratings, and potentials were done by Sony. We kind of had a feeling this would happen so we were prepared in a sense.

Now there are issues with player options and the only workaround for that currently (until it is fixed via a roster update or patch) we would have to import players from MLB 19. If we do that then you will lose commentary for a lot of players. YES, CAPS do have commentary even though they have no audio names they have commentary lines, so it's a catch 22.

We are going to put out a roster this weekend so people that want to play can just play. We will release a more detailed roster with more facial fixes, equipment, ratings and a later date.

Hands are tied due to issues with Sony's set. And if we wait around then nothing would be out until May and that isn't what we want. So those who don't care too much about finer details then this weekend is for you. Those of you that want in depth and fine details will have to wait a little bit longer.

Not much we can do until things are fixed.

This roster will be 100% playable for franchise, it will have all real players, potential changes and some equip edits, faces will be adjusted for ones that are way off as well as updates for others that need it. In the future as Showtyme has said there will be a more in depth update that does lots more under the hood once we have the base roster we need for that. That may be awhile with the work stoppage. My advice is take the one we put out and enjoy it, play franchise RTTS or and just have fun.

The roster releasing this weekend, did you opt to replace the players with option issues or leave them? I’m just wondering if any players with face scans will be changed to Non face scans basically! We don't replace scanned players.

Will OFSM have ratings re-edits as well on release? Haven’t played 20 yet, but after looking at the SDS base ratings I am not pleased with them. I’d prefer to not have to spend hours editing ratings just to play the game.

Hard being patient, but will (im)patiently wait if the OOTB MLB rosters, and the ratings, contracts, etc aren’t that great

Wow bummer lol but also expected..been on vacation but instead of the family trip to disney was stuck home hoping for a front end of the weekend or halfway mark to release and then begin the escape from the world and into editing all the crappy sds MLB guys after fiddling through all the great work u guys did...i had been workin on a roster to pass time in case we wouldnt be getting one and doing imports and all that from guys who upload work from accross the site and it really is alot of work just doing that let alone any ratings and roster levels and anything else not even counting equipment..and alone forget about it..so definitly know we are lucky to have these guys piecing it all together for us every year..thanks again

I’m not quite sure, but I feel like they’ve underrated quite a few players out of the box this year which is definitely better than overating them , but I feel like there are a good few players in the early to mid 70s that could be at least 3 points higher for my preference. That being said not everyone rates the same way so I’m sure some people are fine with the out of box ratings as they are.

I’m going to be patient though as I’m sure between OSFM and the roster vault I’ll be able to find something I like more than the current ratings.That’s why I love roster sharing. I’m actually rerating the final NHL 20 roster right now. I have to do that every year because there is no community to share their edits.
