Ya, that Fletcher guy was scary to look at ! And to boot, have a look at the following players on the White Sox: Joel Booker OF; Matt Foster P (in FA slot); Zack Thompson P; Zack Burdi P; Matt Tomshaw P; Hunter Schryver P; Spencer Adams P (in FS slot), Now, take a look at Yermin Mercedes C. They all look identical! An obvious face glitch. Oh, what did I say? That's 7 face glitches! Crazy. Also, 2 players who don't look anything near themselves: Trent Grisham (SD) and Cavan Biggio (TOR), But you can't do a thing about those 2. And yet, SDS hired Ridin and company as consultants or whatever. How can things like that happen? Not to mention ALL MINOR LEAGUERS who were supposed to be included. Draw your own conclusion. But the game itself is fantastic. The best ever. But, obviously, the roster making is not SDS's forte...

The rosters may not be what everyone wants them to be but they are a hell of a lot better than MLB 19.

every year I like to play a couple different seasons with default rosters, as well as a couple different seasons with rosters from the vault. I cannot do that this year with the default roster. I'm not going to quit playing 20 though, I just dont want this to happen again next year.

Ha y'all weren't kidding, that's nightmare fuel.

You can always visit it anytime by going to (main menu) options tab > roster control > load roster > load default roster.

easy fix, just change his face to #1 then go back right after leaving the edit window and reset to 33

You can blame Rauri the guy who won there tournament.

well, he did the same thing to ex-Cardinal SS Yairo Munoz as he did David Hernandez, duplicated them. one with no stats in the free agents and a correct one still on St. Louis

Rosters back on PS3 and early PS4 when Luis and lorne did them were much more accurate.

Rosters back on PS3 and early PS4 when Luis and lorne did them were much more accurate.

Ridin was basically a consultant, SDS made their own decisions.

There was a roster update today, I'll post on front page soon. I half to clean there mess up again what was posted as who was added on shownation compared to the announcement on the game.

If they made scans importable, that would make everyone's life a lot easier. Perhaps it has to do with not allowing scans to be used of players no longer in the league (and SDS therefore having no license to use them) but there has to be a workaround for that. They could make player scans only downloadable from SDS in the vault. Ban player with a face scan's ID number if they are removed from the game. There are plenty of workarounds that could be easily done.



Instead, we have to constantly battle between new face scans/audio for added immersion (and having to spend hours fixing the roster) or using one of the vault rosters (that are de facto always one version behind SDS) just to have a workable roster for franchise.


Immersion is such a key aspect of franchise, and face scans/audio are so important to that. Especially if it's a top prospect on your team. Imagine trying to start a Dodgers franchise with a no audio CAP of Gavin Lux.



Last year with the O's, I cringed every time Addey Richmond stepped into the batters box. Definitely glad he cam with the day 1 rosters.



New face scans audio should be able to be patched into franchise rosters, either automatically or by an import option. It would save everybody a ton of time on roster fixing, and it would allow people to start a franchise with CAPS and not have to decide whether to start over because you want the next young star that was just added to actually feel real in the game.


There has to be a better way than this.
