Still on for a potential release this weekend ?

Still working on final that touches should be done this weekend. I’m off Tuesday and hope to finish it off then. I apologize for the delays, unfortunately I’ve been battling illness this week and haven’t gotten the time in. Also my wife was supposed to go away today and didn’t so I have to spend with the family. Lol

I know I wanted today, but I’ve been battling an illness and not quite there.

But am extremely close. I know a lot of u are waiting on this and I can’t wait to share it. I have almost the entire AL rosters fine tuned and updated 40 man rosters.- still need to get the rest of the AL done and NL which I should have done by Thursday. That leaves me the weekend to fix some ratings and touch up equipment- unfortunately first release won’t have full equipment edits like I wanted.

Provided there isn’t a slew of transactions across the league to slow me down, if I can do it Sunday noon is my real target.

How are these coming? And two questions regarding draft picks:
Are they going to be in?
If not, who is the best cap creator? I can easily add the top few, especially Collier to Cincy.

Will be done this week, we are into the tinkering and finalizing stage.

As for draft picks they won’t be in the initial set. I would keep my eye in the vault for different creators. Dr Sublime did an awesome Druw Jones.

We are just finishing off revamping and entering new hitters ratings because of the bad start most of baseball had we’ve actually gone back and redone the whole ratings end of the roster. At the same time we are also making sure all the little things are right (jersey numbers for 40 man rosters, positional updates etc).

The roster looks and plays amazingly- my 10 year old has been testing it out with me. We are working almost 24/7 between 2 of us to get this done ASAP.

So y’all giving all pitchers their correct pitches? I remember years past playing with pitch edits the game is a completely different game which is a good thing. Can you elaborate on the pros of playing with your roster set? Thanks

Any pitcher who is listed on MBmavs pitch edits sheets got a proper pitch arsenal. That said he uses some different pitches to get proper movement in the game then what a pitcher may actually throw but it plays perfect. For example Kevin Gausman has a forkball instead of a splitter because in the game the forkball moves more like a split.

As for Pros and Cons, there are a lot pros if you like accurate faces, an up to date roster and realistic to life gameplay. If you play veteran skill or higher some of the pitchers are just nasty like real but they will miss the zone - again like real life. As for Cons - well the wait to get this done has been the biggest Con but in my personal opinion it is well worth it.

That’s my 2 cents.

Yes sir I am all about authentic faces and realism. With your ratings will elite players standout from average players? For instance web gem”s are typically from elite players occasionally role players will get their share. Maybe this has been in The Show previous years but outfielders climb the wall to rob home runs. Not every outfielder should’ve that ability.

This roster set sounds like a massive project and definitely an impressive job for one person to be doing. Was trying to see if we could narrow down an ETA for this bad boy.. are we close to releasing like tomorrow or are we still looking like a week or two away? Definitely appreciate the contributions to the community. Thx again.
