Cy, hopefully Steven Kwan of the Guardians makes your spreadsheet… Dude is killing it so far.

How well do these mesh with the Cy’s roster? Never tried them before but just read more about those sliders and they certainly sound interesting.

My recall is you can use Cy's rosters with A&S's sliders but I think the results might be off. Cy's sliders are tailored toward Cy and Jeff's rosters. They work the best together.

Correct. The sliders play to the strength of the rerates. That being said I’ve always been a fan of A&S’s work, I’ve used the tips he’s had on the slider page for years now.

I dont't wanna sound impatient (which I am), but is there at least an ETA for the updated ratings sheet?
to kill time, i put the numbers from the sheet into my own updated roster until this one will come out.
I know it will take a few weeks until your roster will release since neither SDS or Ridin have their updates out yet. but man I really wanna see your sheet and how you changed some current ratings.

Just updated the spreadsheet with ratings (to this point) for this year's version.

It will continue to be updated as progress is made.

Once either SDS adds a good update, or Full Minors is released, we will start editing.

Will you be adding Steven Kwan to Cleveland's section?

Hi there, I've not used these rosters before in previous years, but they definitely sound right up my alley, so I'm curious about one thing in particular.

I've noticed for years now, with any roster I've tried, that relievers have a RIDICULOUS number of innings pitched and appearances at the end of each season when I sim. I've spent hours in years past going through every reliever and editing their stamina down to single digits, and lowering their durability, but nothing seems to completely solve the issue. I've also lowered the slider for reliever stamina, which helps a bit but not nearly enough when simming whole seasons. I've tried raising the injuty slider to max as well to get more injuries, and therefore have the innings spaced out over a bigger group of pitchers, but still no. I think it's an issue with how the CPU uses pitchers, and no amount of editing ratings will fix it.

I'm curious if you've noticed this, or done anything to address it, in these rosters? It's been driving me crazy for years, and I can't seem to figure out a good system to solve it. Thanks! Looking forward to these rosters!

Yes, I definitely have noticed this issue.

I've experimented with different things, just like you, and been frustrated. While I feel the results are slightly better with our rosters, relievers don't get hurt enough (even though we set all RPs to 50 durability), so there's no penalty for overusing RPs.

Pitchers don't get injured enough in general, but I digress.

A couple of years ago, I started manually injuring relievers to compensate, but it's a lot of work and there are limited DL spots in-game.

It's a game engine issue that is pesky and we've tried our best to fix it with partial success, using roster edits and sim slider edits.

Thanks. Dang, was hoping you might have the silver bullet.

Yeah, I generally just go through and try to manage it myself, by sending down guys with lots of innings but poor results (like any sane team does in real life, unless the player is on some big contract). But yeah, it's an issue that requires lots of manual in-season work to solve, unfortunately.

Anyway, psyched to check out your rosters, and thanks for the quick reply.
