Sorry for redundant question but to confirm these rosters are fit for opening day? I’ve been waiting for full minors but just can’t wait anymore and might kick off franchise with these. Does it have SDS Tatis, or a CAP?

    Thx!

Transactions are set for opening day. Tatis is a CAP

Y’all are incredible. Thanks for all your support!

I know you guys aren’t doing any retakes, but for my personal use, would you bump any of the Reds prospects potentials or attributes after the fast starts of Encarnacion Strand or Matt McClain?

Typically I don’t adjust prospects too much just based off of hot starts. Minors players can be a little more streaky than MLB guys so it’s hard to tell what is real and what isn’t. That’s being said, if both keep up hot starts into June or so then they could be considered for a bump or two

But as always, you are welcome to adjust the rosters to your own liking

Yeah, hot starts and minor league stats in general are very hard to trust and rely on. That’s why we mainly use scouting reports.

A great example of this is someone like Francisco Mejia. Dude hit at every level in the minors and even had a 55+ game hit streak at one point. In 8 minor league seasons he’s hit .295 with multiple .300+ seasons.

In 7 years of the majors, he’s hitting .239 with his best year being .265

Oh I agree with you both. CES though has a chance to be a monster hitter….limited defensively Obviously which compresses his prospect rankings, but I feel the bat alone may be worth a low B potential.
Again, definitely not arguing yalls roster, it’s the best, just don’t want to cheat myself by making him too good lol

One thing that works against both is their current age of 23. I’m a little less flexible bumping guys who are more advanced since we have a better idea who they actually are. If anything, I’d bump their starting overalls up 1-2 points with a heavy emphasis on their batting attributes. Then drop into franchise and if they play well once they reach the majors give them some auto bumps in potential

Thank you so much for this man. Those look great. He’s pretty much a slightly above average guy in regards to every tool outside of maybe arm strength. He gets a lot of juice out of his sawed off frame. People don’t understand how hard it is for guys under 5’10 to hit with the needed power to play at this level. Takes a lot of lower body action to get the needed power as opposed to guys with built in leverage from long limbs like Elly De La Cruz.

Good point here about the lower half.

Check out Ozzie Albies’ home runs. Dudes legs end up about a foot apart from him pushing off the ground.

Im.new, definitely need rosters. Question- are these rosters going to be updated and tweaked in next week's? Should I wait for an update to begin? Like how sds does every Friday, so update after that?

                          Nope. These rosters won’t change.

I know he’s not up yet, but it’s only a matter of time. What #s would you have on Elly De La Cruz now?
                            95-7 potential?
                            Just below average contact?
Then with his exit velos I feel his power should be pretty high.
Same with speed and arm strength. I would think speed around 90 and arm strength 97
                            Any thoughts are great. Thanks
