Not holding out hope, but do we think a guy like Jordan Walker could get a scan in the next update after he plays a few games for STL? Even if they would just fix his face, I don’t need an exact fade scan, although it would be nice.

There's a tiny chance it could happen. I remember back in 19, they added face scans for Vladdy and Tatis since the faces they had before were terribly made

So like if I start my offline franchise and say the update a players face scan aka Michael Harris II is ridiculous it looks nothing like him am I still stuck with the old face scan or will it update to the new one even though its an offline franchise mode?

by my understanding, if Harris gets a new scan added through a patch or roster update, all existing franchise will get the new scan.

but the tricky part is in guys like Orioles Felix Bautista, he is in the game as a CAP but if they somehow can get him in as scanned maybe that much doesn't override preexistent franchises? I'm fuzzy on that much because I don't even know if they override a CAP with a scan

Yeah cap won’t update in franchise only players with a card and audio will.

What I find strange is that there were some players who had scan in Diamond Dynasty last year that are missing their scans on the roster this season.

One player who stick out for me is Pirates catcher Tyler Heineman. Roughly 2 months in to the game last year, his Diamond Dynasty player had his true scan, but it was never imported over to the in-game roster and seems to be missing again this year.

It would be cool if someone from SDS would just be transparent about why so few scans took place and if they have a plan to rectify that in a future update. I know when I first got the game I was very surprised to see Felix Bautista was still a CAP player.

His card is still a CAP in DD. I haven't checked but I doubt it has audio either

Yea its like DD and franchise are two different systems because DD had face scans., equipment cards, and player cards with pictures that franchise never got.

We all know that DD just like every other EA ultimate team of 2K Myteam is the cash cow of the franchise and needs the most attention from developers to stay that way, but it sucks how little the Franchise Modes matter these days while some of us casual players still prefer to play these modes which get less and less attention as the years go by.

Show 22 had Charlie Montoyo as the Jays manager right up to the end of the game even though he was gone midway through the season, which I believe is the first time I remember a coach not being replaced in game if they left the team during the season. This year's John Schneider default CAP face is so terrible that I almost with they'd just put Mattingly as the manager in game because we all know he has a face scan in the database from previous years.

Is it really that hard to understand though? Why would they want to motivate you to play anything but DD? That’s like Caesar’s palace bussing half their customers on any given day to a gamblers anonymous meeting.

They will never motivate me to play they “not real baseball fantasy” mode or mut mode garbage it’s the 8 year old kids that love it my nephew obsessed with those modes irs not for us adults. We used to love collecting baseball cards ect as kids it’s like that for them

Anyway about manager scans we had 3 last year get fired mid season and never get replaced 1 being a world series team stuck wtt Joe all year in the game.

What players had face scans in DD and not the main roster? I played both modes pretty regularly last year and never noticed any

I never played DD but heard Tatis was in DD mode all year but they decided to remove him from the roster for franchise.. all because they wanted people to keep their precious digital Tatis cards.

Oh yeah I guess they did eventually remove him from the live roster, I guess I never noticed caused I started my franchise long before they took him out. At least they didn't remove his likeness from the game or anything. His scan was still in if you used a roster version that he was in
