Yes we do know its SDS "fault" that only new facescans in the new edition of a sports game are Steven Kwan, Jose azocar, and Jack suwinski.

which player said he would agree to a scan but SDS refused him?
all of them that do not have scans?

Honestly, you're kind of losing me here. I have no idea what you're saying at this point. I just dont get the route of deflecting the blame and saying the players are responsible for the game only having 3 new face scans.

And I totally get what you're saying about a singular player not having a facescan. Maybe they didn't agree and sit down. But even with Kwan last year, I understood why he wasn't in.

I'm just saying I think there's a close to zero percentage that only 3 ppl who debuted last year agreed to a face scan and that no established mlb players agreed to a new updated facescan.

At some point, if only 3 ppl are agreeing, then you shouldn't be facescanning and should be finding a different way to get players faces in. Maybe you should redo your CAP system to create accurate looking players if you are only able to get 3 ppl to scan. Or maybe a system like wwe 2k where you can get facescans from a headshot of a person.

do we honestly think the Studio can choose to scan a player if he isnt willing to be scanned?
I'm not suggesting any player that doesnt have a scan, thats his "fault".
its more likely his priorites are fully 100% focused on IRL baseball and his time for video games is severely limited.
maybe Coach and Ramone can get into the players hotel at night during this season and scan whatever players need scanning while they sleep lol

I totally agree. There always an issue with select players not being scanned or players like Jose Abreu not having a new scan in forever. Im sure that is Abreu not sitting down for one.

But this year is special. They had more face scans in the year of and after the pandemic season. Its like they didn't scan anyone this year.

I wonder if the shortened spring training last year played a role. Maybe SDS didn't get out to ST since it sort of snuck up on anyone. Last year a lot of the "new" faces were sort of cartoony looking "artist renditions" not "authentic" scans (go back and look at Gunnar Henderson/Pete Crow-Armstrong and a lot of other prospects. They sort of have big "Disney-eyes" for lack of a better word and don't really look a whole lot like the real life players). The new scans from last year would have been from ST 2021, which still had a ton of pandemic restrictions.

IDK if that was the case, I'm just not sure why the scans would be lacking so much this year

Well SDS was at Spring Training this year. Maybe they will patch some in soon... They're capable they add Spencer Strider new look last year in MLBTS22.

Tbh my biggest problem with this years game is that the non scanned players look absolutely horrible. Ezequiel Tovar looks nothing like his real life counter part. Also, whoever is doing CAP’s of the African American prospects, seems like someone who has never met a black person in their life. It’s like he just came up with the most stereotypical image he could think of. They are 20 but look 40 and all have goatees and min Afros. It’s ridiculous. If they at least tried to make them look realistic it wouldn’t be so glaring. But it looks like they spent like 2 minutes on each CAP

that is really is a good likeness of Tatis.
unfortunately for Fernando, Commissioner Caulfield has more bite than Commissioner Manferd.
Tatis just gonna have to take his lumps this season.
