AL batters are done. I'm working on ratings for prospects. Willard is also getting faces covered and making sure missing players are added.
More to come soon.Comment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 24
Pitchers overall velocity just seems to be way too low for most pitchers out of the box. Will you be increasing pitchers who's FB velocity is 5-8 mph slower than is actual IRL? I don't have the game but have seen the default rosters.Comment

We include full pitch edits, but from what I recall last year, pitch speeds out of the box were nearly spot on. SDS has come a loooooong way in that regard over the years.Comment

Perhaps I should buy the game and see. I was looking at YouTube vids and most seem to be in the low to mid 90's. I still don't understand why these attributes cannot be developed or decrease over time. Oh well.,Comment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 24
Something I’ve had difficulty for years now…I dl a roster from the vault and lineups are almost perfect. Start a franchise and go straight to regular season and my lineups are a mess. How do I rectify this?

Unfortunately you can't. It's been annoying "feature" in the game for a few years now. You used to be able to get around it by only having 26 (25 at the time) guys on your 40 man Roster and they would stick. But now the CPU just automatically fills your 40 man roster and shuffles everything up once you start a Franchise. Even if you start in the Regular Season.Comment

This is the only effin baseball game I’ve ever played on a console that has ever done this. High Heat Baseball, Triple Play, MVP, and even 25 never
had this annoying problem they could easily fix

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 24
The only thing you can do is start in Spring Training sim to the last day and then set your roster and lineups from there. As long as there are 26 men on your roster when you exit Spring Training then it will stick when you advance to the regular season. Easy if you're doing one team but if you want all 30 teams to be correct it's a bit more work.Comment

Damn Yankees and the facial hair thing… Hopefully Jon Berti is updated via patch and not a roster update.
Honestly I was hoping you fellas would have waited for SDS OD roster update, so roster would have guys they add in with face scans… But I get it.

While you can't manually edit the lineups and get them to stick, you can manipulate the hitting ratings to get the CPU to generate relatively accurate lineups. Batting order may not be correct, but at least the correct starters will play.Comment
