No, there's only been one official version posted.

I've considered making a v2 with some more ratings updates for guys you want, plus some secondary positions fixes league-wide so the positions are less restricted.

If there's interest in that, I can work on it because I'm going to start my real franchise soon, once the v3 sliders are finished.

Comparing my franchise save file (about 100 games in) to the real 2025, starting catchers are actually playing a little less in franchise (67.2% of games compared to 69.5%). And it's a bigger difference at the top end. Austin Wells 76% tops CPU catchers in terms of percentage of games played, but irl, Patrick Bailey and Keibert Ruiz have each played 76% of their team's games at catcher. 10 different teams have had their starters play more than 76% irl.

And that's not including the catchers who DH a decent amount on off days (Cal Raleigh, Adley Rutschman, Yainier Diaz, several others). So, yeah, I think raising durability might be the solution. I think I'm just going to go in and give every catcher a +20 in durability.
Let me know how it goes. If it helps, I'll probably make that change if I release a v2.

If adding this year into the calculation, but factoring in last year, this is what he'd get:

        Contact vs Righties 63
        Contact vs Lefties 56
        Power vs Righties 72
        Power vs Lefties 62

        Discipline 42
        Clutch 99
        Durability 90
        Speed 84
        Arm Strength 93
        Arm Accuracy 83
        Reaction 77
        Fielding 77
        Steal 99
        Baserunning Aggressiveness 89

If you just want to factor in this season, change his hitting stats to the following:
        Contact vs R 70
        Contact vs L 60
        Power vs R 78
        Power vs L 68
        Vision 53

If you do make a v2 for Rosters mid-season, would they be adding this year into the calculation and factoring last year stats or just factoring in this season?

I would probably update certain guys on each team. It would probably need to be mostly weighted towards this season to really feel the difference because there's only so many games that have been played this year. So the updates would probably look more like the second version of PCA, for example, I'm thinking

Javy Baez update too would help me. I changed his position to CF. Lmk if I shouldn’t..

Slider update is live, really happy wih the results. You can download it as TrueSim v3.

                  Here are the values:

Sliders were tested in franchise mode and have been adjusted to generate realistic stats. You can see the test results here:
                  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?gid=0#gid=0

Main changes from v2 were to get BABIP where it should be, increase hit variety, improve starter pitch counts and get pitcher zone percentage in that 47-52 percent sweet spot that we see in the MLB.

If you're familiar with Nomo on these forums back in the day, my testing process was inspired by his approach.

                  Enjoy!

Cy, are we still implementing the sim sliders (when simming games) with the pitcher stamina and reliever stamina lowered, etc?

For the Braves, here's a list of what I think represents under/overperforming into 2025 vs the season-over-season averages that (I assume) were used to form their base stats for the roster:

                              Downgrades:
                              - Michael Harris (hitting)
                              - Ozzie Albies (hitting)
                              - Raisel Iglesias (pitching)

                              Upgrades:
                              + Drake Baldwin (hitting)
                              + Nick Allen (fielding)
                              + Eli White (hitting)
                              + Spencer Schwellenbach (pitching, fielding)
                              + AJ Smith-Shawver (pitching)
                              + Scott Blewitt (pitching)

Here are the Red Sox players who I think might deserve a ratings change based on this season so far -

                              Overperformers
                              - Alex Bregman
                              - Carlos Narvaez (esp defensively)
                              - Wilyer Abreu

                              Underperformers
                              - Tanner Houck
                              - Triston Casas (my fav.... sad)
                              - Trevor Story

I've got RP Stamina at 5, and I'm now bumping Manager Hook up to 7 when the first reliever is brought in. I'm going to stay at 7 for a while and see how it goes, I might end up going down to 6. But the CPU is a lot more aggressive playing matchups in the late innings this way.

I'd have said Jorge Polanco 3 weeks ago, but he's got 2 extra base hits and a .400 ops since the 4th, so maybe nevermind.

Drake Baldwin, though. He was 1 for 18 in his first 5 games, but he's hitting .405 since. Overall .341/.385/.536 with 5 HR, and is now getting the bulk of playing time for the Braves (he's started 8 out of the last 13 games over Murphy, including tonight, and 7 of the last 8 vs a right handed starting pitcher). He's 7th in fWAR among catchers.

Spencer Torkelson is another that comes to mind. It's looking like he'll be an All-Star, has a shot at being a starter.

And not regarding ratings, but something I've noticed in franchise is that Willi Castro and Chad Wallach (both minor leaguers irl, but they got called up in franchise) have no equipment. No batting gloves, generic shoes and gloves, etc. I know you guys didn't really worry about equipment for minor league guys, but that stood out enough that I thought it was worth mentioning (I also thought the body type on Wallach did him a little dirty, I dropped him down to "Husky").

I'd suggest a small bump for Blue Jays prospect Trey Yesavage. I don't want to overreact to 2 starts at High-A but he's been dominant, especially at getting strikeouts, with his slider, and avoiding hard contact.

So maybe a boost to H/9, K/9, and his slider control/break? His slider has pretty good downward break due to his over the top delivery so you could possibly change it to a different pitch to reflect that, most beat writers are calling it a splider.

Other guys that come to mind who could use a bump: Javy Baez, Brendan Little, Bo Bichette, Trent Grisham, Ben Rice, Jonathan Aranda, Kyren Paris, Nick Allen (Braves).

Probably some others that I didn't mention.
