I don't know if that's the case.... Mercado was never on 40 man roster during 24 season and he isn't currently on Phillies 40 man right now... If player didn't play in Majors during the game release season, they wouldn't be in game at launch the following game.

Oscar Gonzalez was in MLB 24 with stats and a face scan.

Awesome! What about Devin Sweet? He has a chance at the bullpen but only played in 23. (I won't have the game until Tuesday).

Yes, there are several players I'd like on my team currently on the roster for the Dodgers.

Kidding aside - there's no Sugano, Ogasawara or Ian Anderson in the game (I think that was all expected).

As usual, guys with opt-outs don't have that reflected in their contracts. So Bellinger, Ha-Seong Kim, and Jack Flaherty all have flat 2 year deals. I'm editing those to 1 year deals under the assumption they'll play well enough to opt out. There's probably some other guys in this boat I haven't thought to check yet.

Speaking of boats, David Bote's contract is reflected as 2 years at 3 million per and should be 1 year at probably around the minimum (he's on a minor league deal with the Dodgers).

random question but i don't have it installed right now. Does anyone know if Oscar Gonzalez had a scan in 23? I may redownload and install to copy his face over if he doesn't since im not good at making them myself.

Dont believe he had a scan in 23, received one in 24.

Bote signed a pre-arb extension with the Cubs at $3MM AAV with club options for '25 and '26 at $7MM each. Obviously that's still not right since the Cubs declined those options and since he's on a minor league deal the Dodgers wouldn't be on the hook for that anyway, but that's probably where the 2 for $3MM came from - they just carried over the AAV through the option years. So it's sort of the same issue as Belli and the other guys with options

Oscar Gonzalez and Yonathan Perlaza uploaded to the vault. Username Myk13

Only thing for Oscar that will need changing is his batting stance. He had his own in 24, not sure what it is in 25.

so i just came across a bug that we may need to keep an eye on. I edited a current low rated player of Albert Fabian to make Perlaza. The audio wiped out since there was no matching audio found. With the female announcers they dont announce anything which is good. With Miniak hes still introduced as Albert Fabian. Even if i change his audio to Aaron Ali, Miniak still says Albert Fabian (while the femals say Aaron Ali). May need to create people rather than overwriting to avoid this right now.

Maybe someone can download the Perlaza and see if its the same for them?

Does the same thing happen if you import over a Legend? Say you import a Cap over Frank Thomas. Do they still say Thomas?

Travis jankoeski missing from white songs and might make the team makes no sense he played last year
