Not exactly a missing player, but I started a franchise with current injuries, and they do have the legit injuries like Manea, Rendon, etc. But they have Alek Manoah as healthy on the Jays, even though he won't be back until July or August after Tommy John surgery.

Wish you could add injuries before starting a franchiseComment

Otherwise, inside franchise mode you could still do it before the very first February 20 spring training game.T-BONE.

Re: The Show 25: Missing players and possible comparisons
Really weird what SDS did with rosters this year…. Seeing numerous guys who haven’t played in MLB in years but are in the game right now with stats and face scan.
Why the hell not do this for everyone then??Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: The Show 25: Missing players and possible comparisons
Boggles the mind. Right now, there are four players who are likely to make OD Rosters who are missing - Ian Anderson (ATL), Michael Fulmer (BOS), Shinnosuke Ogasawara (WAS), and Tomoyuki Sugano (BAL). Anderson and Fulmer have been in the Show before and they were able to add Sasaki and Kim at launch, so I really don't get why they couldn't have these four.
I've said it for years, they need to work out a better licensing deal with the MLBPA. Something that doesn't require a new contract every year. Once you've signed on, that should be it. Cause it's not all that uncommon for guys to be gone and come back after a lengthy absence from MLB. Also, if they know that certain foreign players are going to be in the majors (like the Japanese and Korean imports), have a deal in place before the game comes out (which they obviously did with Sasaki and Kim and Ohtani years ago - so it CAN be done).Comment

Re: The Show 25: Missing players and possible comparisons
Not a player, but that is definitely NOT John Schneider when the Jays manager comes out to change the pitcher, unless he suddenly grew long gray hair lol. They usually have the managers don't they? I know at least the 3rd base coach for the Jays is correct.NHL: Leafs

Re: The Show 25: Missing players and possible comparisons
This question isn't really about missing players, but is there a list anywhere of players who were in 24, but retired after the 2024 season and aren't in 25? Guys like Joey Votto.T-BONE.
