The front page has been updated as of 04/16/25.

There was 3 scan faces added in this weeks roster update (3) 04/11/25.

• Possibly there were some more added not mentioned in the Roster Update documents, but I am only going by what I have seen. Once myself or others have confirmed any SCANS I will try to mention those on the front page.

RP Jason Alexander was susposed to be a SCAN but it's the GLITCH FACE.

Is there a reason they are doing scans of guys that haven’t even hit the majors yet? I went through the game and there was literally about 300 guys that have played last year or even the last few years that don’t have face scans. I get you can’t scan EVERYBODY but to me having almost 300 guys without scans is just insane: some guys have been in the league for 3+ years and don’t have scans. Starters for teams and don’t even have face scans. I feel like back in the day, they did a super good job of scanning everybody that even appeared in at last one game the prior season and now it’s like they don’t care to scan anybody

We know!! Been this GLITCH FACE for years but this usually means going back to last year there about to get a FACE SCAN.

Patrick Walker and Trey Supak were added with face scans to Texas.

Hopefully this means that likeness updates are coming in the next patch!

If they get the placeholder face like this, and you start a franchise, then the face gets updated as it does with the roster right? Since only the scanned faces can get altered by SDS once you start.

The only way you get these changes if you already started a franchise is if the changes are in a PATCH. If they make the changes within a ROSTER UPDATE then no you would need that roster to get those changes.

I find it super hard to believe that almost 300 guys didn’t want their face scanned into the game. That’s every kids dream is to be in a video game. I just don’t believe that 300 guys declined scans…makes no sense. Especially when they used to have literally everybody scanned that even appeared in one game the prior season. And they’ll scan dudes after a few years now, why would a player not want their scan for years and then all of a sudden want it? I think it’s just laziness on honestly

I remember Canaan Smith-Njigba being part of a spring training post by the Pirates getting scanned for MLB the Show. It felt like a year and half from that time before his scan made it into the game. Don’t know why it takes so long to get them in.

And this is what is so annoying with this narrative that “they cant make players get scanned” . Historically we know they have scanned hundreds of players this spring training. Where those scans are or how long it takes them to get in the game … who knows?

I also recently saw a post from player asking why they were not in the game. They were saying they were scanned a while ago and their paperwork has been filed a long time ago.

Now, it probably does apply if you’re asking why mike trout hasnt gotten a new face scan in years. But its not the case when you ask why the Nats have like 20 40 man guys without scans.

Padres updates

Several new prospects added.

Oscar Gonzalez got an added player card and went from generic face to the Glitch face so i assume they will be adding in his old scan in a patch.

No new Padres faces this week.
